Congratulations on almost reaching the halfway mark of your goal. I hope you're enjoying your reading journey thus far and that the second half of 2023 continues to bring some good books into your path.
Out of curiosity, what did you think of The Doctor’s Wife
I haven't read that particular one, but the two other books I've read by him I've kinda felt a bit "meh" about. It's not that they're bad - but apparently the whole "popcorn-thriller" with over the top scenarios doesn't work for me in book form. I don't know... maybe I just haven't found the one Daniel Hurst book that will blow my mind.
Good luck with your reading goals in the second half of the year :)

Happy Reading

Happy Reading"
I might check it out at some point :)
I think it really depends on what you're expecting, what you like and so on. Obviously. To me his books reads like an high action movie. Like not high on literary merit, yet entertaining while reading then, but also forgettable. You know? They're fine for what they are :D
Have a great Sunday!

Would still love to hear your opinions on the ones I mentioned, if you ever decide to pick them up.
May you have a fantastic week, filled with lots of time to read.
