Sharon (sqin) | 36 comments I exceeded my 2022 reading challenge goal and would like to keep the same goal for 2023. I plan to read 6 classic literature and 6 nonfiction books.

The Hidden Reality Parallel Universes and the Deep Laws of the Cosmos by Brian Greene I travelled to multiple universes with Dr. Brian Greene.
The Divine Comedy The Inferno, the Purgatorio and the Paradiso by Dante Alighieri Inferno Cantos I-IX (Reading In Progress...)

February:
Caste The Origins of Our Discontents by Isabel Wilkerson A book that examines the history of caste systems in the world.

March:
The Master and Margarita by Mikhail Bulgakov (Reading In Progress)

April:
A Life on Our Planet My Witness Statement and a Vision for the Future by David Attenborough David Attenborough is my all-time favorite narrator.

Death on the Nile (Hercule Poirot, #18) by Agatha Christie Agatha Christie's novels are always exhilarating to read.

June:
The Goldfinch by Donna Tartt I have no idea how this book have won the Pulitzer Prize.

July:
The Master and Margarita by Mikhail Bulgakov FINISHED!! This is my first attempt at a Russian novel and it is a super-slow read for me. I realized I have little to no understanding of Russian history.
A Storm of Swords (A Song of Ice and Fire, #3) by George R.R. Martin I'm slowly finishing up the GOT book series :)
The Jungle by Upton Sinclair Despite the progresses made in working condition and food safety over the past 100+ years, the life challenges new immigrants face upon landing in America have not changed so much.

August:
Origin (Robert Langdon, #5) by Dan Brown This is the best Dan Brown's novels yet.
Many Lives, Many Masters The True Story of a Prominent Psychiatrist, His Young Patient, and the Past-Life Therapy That Changed Both Their Lives by Brian L. Weiss Do you believe in metaphysics?

September:
The Lost Symbol (Robert Langdon, #3) by Dan Brown I read this book after finishing Dan Brown's Origin and was disappointed.

Btw, I know I've said this before, but I feel like I should reiterate it : great book choices! I don't remember seeing your additions before but yeah 👍
