I'm guessing the bad guy is Jeremy unless it's a twist and it's Iann

This main character... is a walking disaster. She's clearly been through a major trauma with her sister dying but she's really all over the place.

Also - Chicago is a big, relatively diverse city. This isn't a small town with a lot of common ancestors where everyone is liable to look the same. Very confused about why everyone looks just like her...

Thoughts on the big bad... 3 primary contenders as of now:
1/ Iann - I thought maybe it was him until the whole thing with the footprints starting where hers ended outside Iann's apartment, now I'm not so sure
2/ Jeremy - we don't see any of him really, viable possibility
3/ Danny - her ex. we don't know a ton about him yet.
4/ Bug - the landlord's vibe is all kinds of creepy
5/ Dad - seems like a scary guy but we don't know much yet except that it's heavily implied that she's scared of him
6/ Mystery guy - someone keeps calling her but we don't know who

- ok well... she's still a mess but at least we have some answers about why she is the way she is.
- Erin is spoiled and frustrating but she's still missing?
- wow, her family sucks.
- are we ever going to find out how her sister and mom died?

Big Bad update:
1/ Iann - still possible, he's hiding something but i'm not sure what yet. did he supply the pills that Erin had? he seemed very sure about what they were
2/ Jeremy - dead.
3/ Danny - her ex. we don't know a ton about him yet.
4/ Bug - dead.
5/ Dad - dead.
6/ Mystery guy - still don't know who this is. is it even a guy? could be a woman?

I also think it's weird no one is concerned about Erin. I can't believe Hannah or the dad haven't reached out to Harper to see if they've seen her. isn't it Hannah's income/job/money on the line too?

all her black outs and random sudden waking up not knowing how time passed.
honestly, I have no idea how she's earning any money
and he wasn't wrong - if she disappeared, Iann is the only one who would have wondered where she'd gone

I have no idea why this many men are just throwing themselves at her. she's a mess
