Hope everyone is having a good week so far. I got hit hard yesterday with a bunch of work, so I wasn't able to check in. I'll probably just finish my current read in March to get caught up with work stuff. Looking forward to the next month!

I have a tie between A Court of Silver Flames and Things We Never Get Over for my favorite for the month. I have Things We Hide from the Light which will be my next read. I'm excited about March's reads! ☘️

Things We Never Got Over just became available at my library! I'm super excited ;)

My two favourites were Five feet apart and Indigo ridge.the first one is so moving and just read it when someone really close to me was not feeling well so I’ll always have a link between that book and that loved one.

How was Spare Becky. I have it here ready to be read but I am a bit tired of listening to the Royal Family’s mistreatment of Harry and Megan and I’m afraid it’ll be a bit the same story. Would you recommend it?

Happy March, what a fun time February was here on Tasmanian Devils. though I read a wide variety, my favorite was The Kiss Curse.

Quick update. We are currently ranked 20. It sounds bad, but we did so good! Those few extra points we didn't get wouldn't have changed anything, it was all the luck of the cards.

The good news - we have a really good hand this month! We still have a lot of Draw 2s, but not as many as a lot of other teams. I expect us to be ranked much higher at the end of March.

My battery ran out.

I feel like I ran to the bathroom during a commercial and someone turned the channel, and I'm going something important.

Not like it's a book I can just pick up again once I get a little battery life.

But it was such a bad part to leave off on.

He better not be about to cheat. AHHHHH! Does he cheat or not cheat? I know they won't break up, but I'll be so mad if he cheats.

So I'm planning on reading the 4th book in the Red Queen series and it could work for Blue 4, just not sure if it's blue enough for the cover. The last 3 all worked but let me if it's going to work.

I got the audio because I wanted to listen to Prince Harry tell the story and then I listened to it over the course of weeks because I couldn't really get through more than an hour or two at a time. There isn't much new information but I did appreciate his perspective.

I read the book and could not get into it. I finished it but wasn't one of my favorites. I'm tempted to watch it to see if I like it better watching it. I heard the audiobook was really good.

I listened to Daisy Jones, this one perfect as an audiobook. It was probably better that way. I am not watching it, but will have to consider!

What do y'all do to get out of it? I've been trying to just read and just not into it. Hope everyone is having a good start to the week <3

I usually do something else. I have a few days of tv watching or knitting if I’m in the mood for it. I find when I am busy in work or worried about something, I can’t read but after a few days, I’m ready again to read something. Also exercise if you like to kill yourself sweating,there’s nothing better

...the first step is overcoming denial and admitting the problem...

at inevitable slumps, which will pass, I like to switch to audio books, maybe a biography --or children's books, new to me or nostalgic types, or cookbooks/decorating/hobby books

I mix in things like Manga or Graphic Novels as palette cleansers. Audiobooks also help.

Do you ever do a re-read? Sometimes I pick something that I know I adore and can blaze through. It helps me. Good luck :)

While I like spice in a book, I need to have a ratio of story to spice be at least a smidge higher on the story side.
