Well, I'm not halfway through October yet, and have already surpassed my initial goal . . . looks like I'm moving it up to level 6, (a stunning debut) with 25+ new authors read in 2023!

Thanks, Loraine! The majority have been and ones I will continue to read. Based on books currently selected for ongoing challenges, looks like I will add about 20 more as well. So wonderful to find!

I did 61 and was totally shocked!

I ended the year with 26 new-to-me authors. Not too shabby I think!

Like Staci and Loraine, I blew this one out of the water. My goal was 26+ and I read 105 new to me authors. Lots of great finds!

I finished with 95, some I’ll probably never read again but many I’m excited to explore further.

Reading throughout a whole year makes a huge difference in how many new authors one encounters! I expected to be at Level 2: Looking for new (6-10 new authors). But in the end I ended up at 63! This put me in the Level 6: A Stunning Debut 25+ new authors.
