Important Dates:

12/30 - Will notify teams of who goes first! You will continue in order after that.
12/31 - Check-in deadline for team members. Captains, if you have members that haven't been checked in by then, please message them directly and let me know/
1/1 - Start Date! For simplicity, the first roll can happen after 7am CST (1pm in the UK), please adjust to your time zone for the first roll.
2/28 - End Date! 6pm CST (12am in the UK)

Hi team!!! Raquel and Jotsmar know me as we work together but for those that don’t, hi!!! I live in Texas… mom of two kids and 2 dogs. Work in accounting where I purposely try to avoid talking to people so I can listen to books. 🤣 I listen during the day and read at night. This is my first time being a captain. I have co-captained before. Feel free to add me as a friend to follow each other. I will read just about anything. Challenges help me broaden those genres!

You can put me down for CST since that’s where I’ll be most of this challenge.

Hi! I have never played but excited to do so! I've been looking at all of the spreadsheets and can tell how it works on just the rolling of the dice then the tasks associated with each square. Tomorrow since I'm off, I'm going to really dig into the rules.

Team Thimble rolled Community Chest and has received $10 from each team. I have adjusted our spreadsheet and made a note to track our $$$.

Once Top Hat rolls and posts their book, we can roll!

I have a book that I finished today where they have a 5 year old and a newborn. Any other suggestions?

Yes it would! I’ve dropped the task in the spreadsheet so it it just needs the title. All other books read until our next roll can be dropped in the banked books.

I finished my book last night. Spreadsheet is updated.

I think you have to add my book and how it met the requirement on the Captain's thread as well.

We rolled a 1 and landed on Baltic:

Read a book with a brown cover (>50%)
Read a book whose title starts with B_
Read a book set in the Baltic states (Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania)
Read a book by an author whose first and last initials can be found in “BALTIC”_

We have 2 of the 4. Also, do we buy Baltic?

I’m finishing up The Book Thief tomorrow if there isn’t already a brown or B book listed.

If you think about it, you're very lucky XDD You landed on an owned place in the second (?) roll

I think your VF Mason book can count for the 4th task
The Finlay Donovan book is also 52% blue, and I think that can count as a light blue?
