I have wanted to get back into consistent reading for a long time, especially since the chaos and disorder of 2022 left me on quite a prolonged writer's/creativity block. And because I want to go into 2023 stress-free (as much as possible) and with a confident mindset ensuring healthy self-care, I have returned to study and enjoy the foundation of life: ✨literature✨.
I don't know if I will truly accomplish everything here. So, in order to not put the bar so high, I will establish my goal for # of books to be read in 2023 at 26 books. I've definitely seen that many TV shows & movies this year, so I will do the same for books!
Lastly, I must note that the important thing is to have fun. I believe that keeping this up on a weekly basis will not be easy. So, if I need to take a break or change up some things, then let there be __________! <3

UPDATE 01/18/23: What a great start to the challenge (lol)! With school returning for Round 2 and me figuring out my goals for the year ahead, I delayed reading for almost 2 weeks. I just finished Big Little Lies today, and will now be starting On the Come Up. I know I'm behind, but I'm determined to reach my goal of 26 books read. Analyzing my progress with BLL I can read at least 240 pages in 3 days; however, I had a lot of free time during that span. I hope to be able to finish 3-4 books before the month ends. But we'll just have to see.
