I finally read Carmilla and WOW... I totally get why people rave about it so much! Easily one of my favorite classics now.

I am reading Siete casas vacías (Seven empty houses) by Samanta Schweblin plus a handful of other books. You may already know Schweblin's novelette The Distance of Rescue, which was made into the Netflix film Fever dream.
I'm reading Nineteen Claws and a Black Bird and I'm loving it. Her short stories are so delightful and just slightly humorous that I keep returning to certain passages to re-read and enjoy again.
