nari (mayhemnkaos) I do creative writing for fun, but I've had serious writer's block recently so does anybody have any advice for getting out of it?

Juliana | 93 comments I’m in no means a writer but when I was in college and had to write long papers I would get super stuck in the beginning and had no idea what to talk about, I would just write gibberish, literally anything that was closely related to the topic even if it didn’t make sense and after a while the right words would flow right out and I was able to write

Arthur | 18 comments I love writing often. Don’t let the idea of writers block take over. You can always write. Albeit not in way that meets your expectations. I like to go out and write about some of my observations. It could be something as simple as a bird eating from a trash can or the way the cars pass by me. It’s like taking a picture but I’m using my words instead to capture that moment in time. Doing this helps me use all the language tools and techniques that I know. As I write these observations, an idea emerges at some point. If not in that moment then later on when I read trough it again.
