I realise there are silly things like newspaper articles that are sometimes listed when they shouldn't be, but this is very different, imo.

Yeah, thanks, I realised after. It's because you can't link to it via the usual add book/author feature.
This topic has been frozen by the moderator. No new comments can be posted.
When I go to the page for the book itself, https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/5..., it's flagged:
"This item does not meet our catalog guidelines and can no longer be rated or reviewed."
Obviously, it's not really a book.
Obviously - in the title and the blurb - so there's no deceit about it.
But in some corners of GR it's a big part of the community and has been since at least 2014: thousands of reviews for each one.
Killing it on the cusp of new year is especially mean.
I understand there need to be rules about what qualifies as a book, but please make an exception for these.
Furthermore, if there's going to be a general expurgation of things that are "not a book" - please promise no reviews and their comments will be deleted, even if they are locked. Short stores are especially vulnerable to this as they may be anthologised in lots of books, but also published individually, though not necessarily with an ISBN.
