I loooved Recitatif! I was having a hard time figuring it out the rating though. 4 stars, or 4,5 stars? Whether it was the "experiment" aspect of it, or the story itself that would bump it up.
I'll definitely be reading more Morrison this year though.

I've sadly been very busy studying for the last 2 months and didn't get a lot of reading done :( But I'm slowly getting into it again! Current favourite is actually the last book I read: Last House Before the Mountain (Die Bagage) - such a good & quick read!

I managed to read 40 books last year (My Reading Challenge 2022), so I will try to accomplish the same amount again this year! I originally set a lower goal (24 books) because I started Uni in October and thought I wouldn't have as much time to read. But I already read way more than I was planning to, so I'm pretty confident that I will get to (at least) 40 books again this year. Good luck to everyone else as well!
UPDATE: I decided to lower my reading goal to 20 books (maybe I'm cheating a little bit with that, but I need to accomplish something, actually ANYTHING this year), uni work was wayyyy more intense than I though this year, so I simply didn't have the time to read all the books I wanted to read :( But hopefully next year!
