Chris (chrissieml) | 152 comments Apparently I read this last month - and gave it 3 stars. Not that I can remember a lot of it, so clearly it made a great impact. Something about feeling a bit more for the criminals than the heroine or victims at some point...
The writing style can't have been amazing for me to be so vague about it.

Beth Stewart | 644 comments Chapter one: now we have the answer to the burning question “what does a man wear under his kilt”.

😂😂

Beth Stewart | 644 comments I am still slogging along. It is written in a dialogue-driven style and that isn’t my favourite. I like more descriptions to get a picture in my mind of people and places. I haven’t figured out who the culprit is yet, so that’s a plus!

Beth Stewart | 644 comments What do you think? Why is it that all main characters are flawed Some way?

Why can’t we have a novel where the detectives only issue is something mundane like the extra kilos she put on at Xmas?

Beth Stewart | 644 comments Finished and am giving it a 2.5. Not much of a mystery and, as I mentioned in a previous post, the dialogue drive style doesn’t appeal to me.

The story was ok but not a page turner.
