Dani hope it's okay that I add this discussion — I needed a place to talk about this, that, and the other lol.

Have any of you read the ACOTAR series? I am seriously conflicted about picking it up. I was so excited... but I think I'm feeling a bit burnt in the fantasy department and I've read lots of reviews saying the first half is miserably slow 😩 lol Is it worth it?!

Kaylee Melton | 24 comments The first book is a bit slow. The second book is my favorite. I rate the entire series 3.5/5 stars. I like it but it is not something I would die on a hill on. If you think it is not for you, I wouldn’t force yourself to read in.

Amelia :) (squeals211) | 15 comments I haven't read the ACOTAR series yet but my friend has and she really enjoyed it

Dani Okay, that is about what I was expecting. I think I will hold off until there I come to a point where I don't have any other books in line lol
With the show coming out and what not I've been more inclined to try it out, butttt something is just steering me away 😂

What genres are you all reading currently or do you stick mostly with romance?✨ I'm reading Six of Crows in my other book club this month and it has been great so far. I actually read the shadow and bone series last year with my husband Dave! Glad to have a reason to start the rest of it.

Kaylee Melton | 24 comments I mostly read YA, fantasy and romance. Also Six Of Crows is my favorite book!

Amelia :) (squeals211) | 15 comments I mainly read YA, murder mystery and fantasy :) Six Of Crows is my favourite book too!!

message 7: by Kaylee (new)

Kaylee Melton | 24 comments Ooo I totally forgot about murder mystery! A good girl’s guide to murder is my favorite

message 8: by Dani (new)

Dani I had no clue how many people loved Six of Crows before I started reading it. I am invested — I have my husband Dave listening to the audiobook at work LOL

I am a romance gal through and through but I do love a good mystery/thriller. Fantasy is a hit or miss for me but it has to be included🤭

message 9: by Kaylee (new)

Kaylee Melton | 24 comments I have always liked fantasy but I believe it can depend on what reading mood you are in or which author it for others to enjoy it

may ♡ | 4 comments Thank you so much! I’ve been reading this month’s book and I’m in loveee! :)) I will definitely let you know if I have any more questions.

turningleighpages Just throwing it out there if there are any new mums (or moms haha) that want to chat books/etc etc I'm here. My son is 9 months old, and I only really have time to look after him, read and work so not a lot of time for making friends!
