Book 1:
A: Regency England
B: A Useful Woman
C: Jan. 15
D: Very enjoyable. Thank you to whoever mentioned it here! ..."
I bought that one as my Ancient Greece book, so thanks for the information.

A: Ancient Greece
B: Death Comes by Amphora: A Mystery Novel of Ancient Athens
C: Jan. 22
D: A bit slow, but I loved learning so much about Greek history, and the two main characters - a young man and his elderly slave - were very well drawn. I'm glad I read it, and enjoyed the author's note at the end as well.
Book 3:
A: Early 20th Century
B: Murder at the Spring Ball: A 1920s Mystery
C: Jan 23
D: An easy-to-read, entertaining story, narrated by the 16-year-old grandson of the sleuth, Lord Edgington. I should have guessed the culprit, but did not!

A. Regency England
B. The Dead Betray None
C. Feb. 9
D. I loved the characters—the hero is honorable and dashing, doing dangerous work for the Crown, and the heroine is courageous and gifted, so both of them get into plenty of trouble.

A. Regency England
B. The Dead Cannot Hide
C. March 2, approx.
D. Second in the series and a good read. I expect to continue reading this series. A third one is coming out in July

A: Victorian England
B. The Vanishing Thief
C. Early February (I'm not good at keeping track of dates read!)
D. An excellent start to a series. I have also read some of Kate Parker's WWII era books and enjoyed them, too.

D: Very enjoyable. Thank you to whoever mentioned it here! I loved Rosalind Thorne and the two men in her life and am about to read the next in the series.
Book 2 is Death Comes by Amphora (Ancient Greece). I haven't finished it yet. It's a bit slow for my taste but interesting in that I'm learning a lot about the era. Also, I really like the two main characters and have no idea whodunit. :)
