I've started! It's nice to be back in this world. I enjoyed book 1.

Up to chapter 6

I got the first page done and then work has been crazy the past 2 days. I'll try and sneak some reading in on the night when I can't sleep

(view spoiler)[ I was sort of surprised the process was more complicated to get married in Las Vegas. I thought you didn't need a special licence still but they way it was explained like strings were pulled it confused me of how someone could get accidentally married.

(view spoiler)[That surprised me too, Megan. I've read so many books where they get drunk and get married. I looked it up on Google. You do need to get a license before marrying.

Up to chapter 20
(view spoiler)[I also didn't realize that you need a special license to get married in Las Vegas. I thought you could get married no questions asked. Easy peasy. I also didn't realize it isn't as easy to get a divorce as most think.
I'm with you two, I thought it was extremely romantic that Dante followed her to Bali.
Dante has a reputation for being a player but that isn't true.
I hope that Gio will see how crazy Dante is about Chloe and mend fences with him. I suspect it will happen.

(view spoiler)[ Such a sweet ending! I think one has to be part of an Italian family to understand why Lucas & Gio acted the way they did. I suspect some of it was part of the plot .. the story needed some conflict but you would think that they would want their sister to be happy. I didn't understand their initial reaction.

Eric needs help. Lots of help. I 'm glad Dante and Gio were able to help Chloe before the situation intensified and got worse.

(view spoiler)[I really loved how Brooke helped Luca see that Dante really cared about Chloe. And then he, in turn, got Gio to realize the same thing. They love their sister and just never wanted her to be hurt. This was a great ending to this story. I couldn't put it down when I was reading it. Just loved these characters.

I knew Eric was the one setting Brooke up. He really does need help. Love how they got there in the nick of time to save her. (hide spoiler)]
