I'm just on Chapter 6. There's a lot of setup. I like it so far.

I'm in chapter two! The prologue was fantastic. I like how the team all worked together. Action and suspense right off the bat I like!! 🙂
I suspect that Ian will do what the lawyer wants as somehow it will involve his brother. I'm looking forward to reading more!

I'm sure since this a Brockmann book, there will be plenty of action and suspense.

Maybe it's my first Brockman book?? Yay! I'm happy to hear that

If you like this one, you should definitely read her Troubleshooters series. It was fantastic.

I just finished chapter 4. Oh my...I have to admit I chuckled when Phoebe was pushed into the pool. I guess Ian has figured out by now that Phoebe is who she says she is.

Looking forward to seeing what happens next.

Just a fyi...my closets are all normal. But Aaron's closet is definitely kick ass!

I won’t talk about what happens further but I was able to read quite a bit further today and I’m loving Phoebe and Ian. My closets don’t compare to his either. I’m too boring. I’m up to Chap 13 and it’s getting great.

I went to bed and sleep around 930pm my time....very unusual for me. Karen, it's -43 with the wind-chill factor here today. We are a bit unprepared as we had plus temperatures last week. Thankfully late Sunday we are back around 0. I hope my car starts this morning

Don't feel you need to hurry through the book.

It's been below zero here and with the wind chill...I don't want to know. It's warming up here today. The temp is back in the 30's F, so that is so much better.

I just finished chapter 9
Lots of action. Aaron and Shelly's back story was interesting. I was surprised to learn Shell was male. This is a close knit group since I also learned that Francine helped take the fall for the incriminating video so Aaron and Shel wouldn't have to. I think the biggest surprise is that Shel is Dellarosa's son!!
Phoebe was a wildcard for me but I think since she seemed clueless when she went back to her apartment she is who she says she is.

I thought Shell was a woman too! Lol And yes, I was shocked to learn he was Dellarosa's son too. We got more info about Francine which makes me really like her. And the fact she took the fall for the video so Shell didn't get in trouble was unbelievable. I'm really enjoying this group of characters.

I wasn't sure about Phoebe for a while either. I love how this author keeps feeding us bits of information about the backstory on all the characters.

Phoebe and Ian are great together. I like their witty banter and chemistry. Lots of intense scenes and Phoebe just powers through. Phoebe is quick... Saying she is Ian's wife to diffuse an already tense situation. Shel and Aaron's back story just add to the overall suspense. I'm really enjoying my first Brockman book. I'm not sure how things are going to pan out with Berto. (hide spoiler)]

Wow, talk about make a deal with the devil!The planning and execution of the "sting" was fun and suspenseful. Yoshi and Deb certainly know what they are doing. Ian is a natural leader!
I'm not sure why Francine doesn't like Phoebe. Berto is still a wildcard for me. I'm wondering if Francine ends up with Martell. How did Davio know to be in the right spot? (hide spoiler)]

Always! I'm really glad you suggested it because it's definitely been one of my funniest( is that a word) reads so far this year!

That's one of the reasons I really like her books. They have romance and suspense and some humor. Glad you're enjoying it.

I love how Phoebe was so quick coming up with I'm Ian's wife! That was great. And the shower scene. I'm listening to the audio and the narrator was perfect relaying Ian's frustration. Lol I really loved getting Aaron and Shel's backstory too. It makes a lot more sense now. I'm still wondering how they are going to pull off getting those kids though. Berto is kind of a wild card. I'm not sure which way he is going to go.

I loved it! So much fun, action packed. I loved Phoebe and Ian. I loved reading and seeing him fall in love with Phoebe. I also thought it was a great cast of secondary characters. I loved Martell and Deb! The flashbacks were great.

This was a really good sting! They really planned it so well. Except for when Davio showed up. I wonder how he knew. Ian is a fantastic leader. I really love him and Phoebe together. And I can't figure out why Francine has it in for her. Except I wonder if she has a thing for Ian? But she would definitely be a good fit for Martell.

I couldn't figure out why Francine had it in for Phoebe either. I also thought and her Martell would be good!

I really loved it too! Ian and Phoebe were great. And the supporting characters were excellent. Glad you enjoyed it. As I mentioned, Troubleshooters is another series of hers that's really good.

I'm going to have to check it out!!
