I'm looking forward to this one because I loved The Astonishing Color of After. I plan to read around mid-month.
I'm starting this one now! Just a few days early because I finished all my January planned books!I'm excited too, but also nervous because I read These Violent Delights late last year and it was a let down so I'm hoping this author's interpretation is better!
This is my first time reading this author :)
I haven't read These Violent Delights, but I keep getting tempted by the cover :-)
I sadly was disappointed by that one. I'm not really sure why. It just felt... uneventful.But I've started this one and I am rather enjoying it. The writing style is a tad difficult to get into but I'm enjoying the modern setting.
I finished this last night. I sped through it. I enjoyed the story, but the language itself goes on my growing list of books that are too 'flowery' for me haha!3.75/5 for me!
