I have no idea what got into me but I have been signing up for a dozen virtual book events hosted by libraries from Maryland (where I am), Missouri (where I was), and other states (where I've never been). And I have looked into Book Festivals in my area. I can't believe I have already read 6 books this month- a personal best.

I stayed up until 2 AM to finish a mystery book that ended on a cliffhanger!! That was a bite in the ass. However; I recommend The Lost Boys by Faye Kellerman. Keep in mind this is book #26 out of 27. It worked as a stand alone but the characters have a back story that I want to know. Instead of going back to #1 I will be reading #27.

I'm in book heaven!! I have been waiting over a month for library books to finally be my turn! An Immense World: How Animal Senses Reveal the Hidden Realms Around Us and The Lindbergh Nanny are in my hands!!!! Of course I am reading a book I can't put down; A Bridge Across the Ocean. It's like Christmas Morning!

Janice | 282 comments Wow!!! Six books in one month is a lot!!! So happy for you as I remember before you found it hard as you were so tired. How are you doing now? It sounds much better! <3 What a great idea for libraries to host virtual book events and a Book Festival!!! Sign me up! :)

I went to the library to pick up a book on hold that I don't have time to read because my book stack is already about to topple over. I was like a kid in a candy store. I added 5 more books to my pile. I will be so busy for a while.

I do the same thing every month, wanting to read books from the groups I am in here on Goodreads. Too many books for each month, but I still like to think I can read them all!!! I can dream!!! ;

That's the best part! FREE. Especially since driving and working are not possible, the library is my only option.

FREE is awesome!!! And if I read a book that I love and know I will reread, then I might purchase the book from a shop. :)

That's what I plan to do. I've got very minimal space living with my parents and not able to work, so funds also limit me. I intend to get better and return to my life eventually. Moving with boxes and boxes of books is a pain even though I love living in a personal library. It's tough to choose between practical and cozy.

I understand about limited funds; books can be very expensive! And you will get better! <3 :) Try to have both practical and cozy! :)
