"Oh food," he glanced at her "Uh what's for lunch again?" he ran a hand through his hair sheepishly.

"Well, for you its the chicken tenders. For me, cause I'm a vegetarian its salad" she said hugging her ribs

He gave her a sideways smile, "And how did you know I'm a meat eater? For all you know I could be a vampire and drink people's blood," He crossed his arms.

She laughs and pokes his ribs "I just know. Your a jock. Jocks eat meat"

"So I'm not a vampire?" He frowned, "Darn, all this time," He shook his head.

She sighs "your a werewolf not a vamprire. Duh"

"Oh well that clears it up," He put a hand on his heart. "Yep your right,"

She laughs and pokes him again "your a weird guy you know that?"

He looks around "Oh me! Yes yes I am,"

She rolls her eyes laughing "let's go down to lunch"

"Yes I do enjoy eating food," he started walking.

She got down to lunch and her heart stopped. Luke's friends were reading her diary

"Oh my- Alanna I'm so sorry I didn't-" He cut off.

Alanna's eyes fill with angry tears as she walks to he table

Luke stares in shock for a second before storming up behind her.

Alanna snatches the book from his friend "Screw you. I hope you read the part about you you little a**wipe"

He wasn't even listening. His friends did this? How could they? He takes one look at them and walks out of the lunchroom before they got hurt.

She let out a bloodcurdling scream as he started reading the diary out loud. She runs out crying

He punches the locker next to him then he hears the scream. He rushes back and punches his friend in the gut. "Let go," he says calmly.

The boy keeps reading "Oh Luke, let's kiss" he says in a girly voice "he presses his lips against mine passionatly"

He grabbed the diary and shoves the boy backwards. "Friends? How about no," He walks out without another word.

The boy falls backwards
Alanna, who is very small, is inside her locker crying

He walks around the hallways. "Alanna?" he calls.

The locker is cracked open a bit "what?" She cries "here to make fun of me?"

"Why would I do that?" He shrugged. "I have no reason to,"

Alanna gets out of.the locker tears still streaminh down her face

"Hey, I got it back!" He waves it in front of her face. "See, there is no reason to cry,"

She takes it out of his hand and hugs him tight "ugh your the best!"

"I am? Well that's good, I mean I was shooting for second place, but first works too," He smiled down at her.

She smiles "ugh I could just kiss you!" She says still hugging tight

"Umm?" He looked around "Okay...? Wait what are we talking about?" He sighed, "Sorry short term memory loss," He hugged her back slightly.

"We were hugging cause you saved my life"

"Oh ok," his eyes narrowed, "Wait, did it involve something with a vampire or werewolf?"

"No, you idiot, that was before lunch"

"Oh wait we had lunch?" he broke away so he could rub his belly. "This says differently,"

She laughs and flicks his forehead "while lunch is still going on "

"Hmm, I am hungry but not that hungry," He looked at her, "You?"

"Well, I didn't eat" she said and her belly growled loudly

"Neither did I, but do you want to face... people...?" he shivers fir effect.

"We could always just leave for the rest of school"

"Hmm ditching, naughty girl," He sighs, "But where too?'

"We could always go to my house" she says polilely to him

She suddenly lights up "there's a park near by."

"I do like parks," he laughs. "Lead on!"

Alanna sighs "but I don't a drivers licsence. I took the bus here"

"Good thing I do," he states and stops. "And how do we get out of here?"
