Ursula Hartlein (ursulahartlein) | 1 comments I apologize if this is in the wrong folder.

I know it's unprofessional and can have very damaging consequences to respond to negative reviews, but are there any guidelines for when to tag such a review as going against community standards? I just saw a super-long, 1-star, rambling rant about one of my books, where the reviewer personally attacks me many times and ascribes all these bizarre motivations to me, even calling me a murder apologist because s/he doesn't like how, in my alternative history, I have real-life Bolsheviks being genuinely rehabilitated in prison and getting high-ranking positions in Tsar Aleksey II's government.

I won't respond to this person's vitriolic, unhinged rant, but I'd just like to know how to determine when a negative review crosses the line into legitimately against community standards.

Thanks!

I would suggest that you contact the group moderator and ask what can be done in your case and if the technical staff at GR can take action on this.

Gail Daley | 63 comments You might ask the GR administration if there is a way to block this person from reviewing your other books
