I was wondering if anyone had any recs for Black authored YA or even Middle Grade (preferably fantasy or dystopian/sci-fi) since it's Black History Month.

Binti by Nnedi Okorafor is sci-fi, while the Akata Witch serie is more middle grade if I recall, and fantasy. But I loved it so much!

Children of Blood and Bone by Tomi Adeyemi (it's a serie, we are waiting for the third installment)

Good Luck Girls and The Sisters of Reckoning by Charlotte Nicole Davis

Raybearer and Redemptor by Jordan Ifueko

The Black God's Drums by P. Djèlí Clark

The Gilded Ones and The Merciless Ones by Namina Forna (one of my fave ever)
