Book Promotions discussion

My name is Jennifer Penrose. I have recently had a new book published called I Am God Breathed. This book takes readers on an emotional journey with a little boy whose mood changes based on his environment. He will be happy when he is laughing with his friends and bored when he has too much homework. This book helps parents enable their children to work through these emotions while being God-centered.

May I ask, having only just become "active" in Goodreads - how do you make a post like this? I can't seem to find it anywhere! (Sorry to bother you). :-)

I looked up discussions under the profile page and found discussions and groups where you could post. I found one about promoting new books. There are a lot of different genres where there are discussions going on as well.

Hi Jennifer - many thanks for replying. I feel very foolish because I've been around the internet for a long time, but although I've found the links and groups you mention, when I get there, I can see no way of adding a new post or topic. Either I'm being very stupid, (which has been known!), or newcomers have to somehow earn the right to post. You'd managed to post somehow, so I thought I'd be very cheeky and ask you - and I'm very grateful that you took the time and trouble to research that for me.

Sadly I'm no further forward, but it really isn't your problem so I am sorry to have importuned you in that way.

I'll figure it out eventually!

So, I did a little more looking at it today and you do have to scroll to bottom of discussions to join the group. Then you should be able to post a comment. Hope this helps.
