Awesome. Will put my thinking cap on. Or maybe my scratching-around-to-find-a-suitable-book fez.

Yes quite a few I want to read. But most are pay fiction at my library system & in the case of The Good Girl, only at a library that won't lend out their new works! :-< So that made the Paul Thomas an easy choice for me!

What area are you looking at, Kathleen?

You may find op shopping (like I do) a possibility for cheap reads.

Oh, noooo. It's not just the print but they have a soooo much better Overdrive selection than our library consortium does. I often peruse and wish that Auckland (and other libraries) would allow out of town membership access on their e-resources! Or for that matter for all libraries in NZ to have a consortium arrangement with Overdrive.

Hey, isn't election year coming up? Maybe we could lobby for some sort of nationwide library consortium?!

I've tried The Narrow Road... twice. May be I should give it a third go.
