He was one of the best soldiers the uprising had, and therefore was the first choice to use as a spy. As a result, he was placed in the system and made into a guard, quickly rising in the ranks to become the princess’s guard. Of course, it was all a plan. Be her guard, earn her trust, and kidnap her. That way they would have the perfect bargaining chip when it comes to taking over the kingdom. But things didn't go that way. No. In between earning her trust and kidnapping her, another step was added. One that wasn't supposed to happen. He started to fall for her. So what should he do? Follow his orders? Or protect her?

Despite this being essentially the couple’s debut, Muse B wasn’t as thrilled as he would have been. The major problem? Muse A was a bit plastered and in no condition to be driving. Despite their protests, Muse B got in the car as he needed a way home and the fellow students weren’t in love with the idea of being around the newly outed teen. That decision would be one of the worst the teens had ever made. Flash forward to five years later where Muse A has moved far away to forget what happened and is working in a field he feels is repaying his debt (EMT or RN) and he feels like he can finally live his life. That is until he finds out that by coincidence Muse B has moved to the same city and they run into each other. This could be a situation where Muse B has a medical episode and runs into Muse A at their job.||

Muse B is the younger brother to the soldier killed and has always been very different from his brother. Somewhat sheltered from their home life by the older brother, until he left, Muse B only recently found out what it was like to live at home alone. There is a potential for Muse B to have a long time secret crush on Muse A, or to start out very angry with Muse A for coming home and not his brother.||

So I have an idea for a bit of a darker plot, I gave the characters names and genders, just because it was easier than remembering Muse A and Muse B, but the genders do not have to stay the same and the names don't have to be what I gave them either.

But it's set in a more Renaissance era, I would also like to add in fantasy elements, but that's up for discussion as to how and all.

This plot has some physical violence between the two, as well as references to sexual violence, there are also themes of power imbalances along with some misogynistic behavior in the dynamic between the pair, but also just in general due to the time it was set in.

As for rp preferences, since I'm 18+, I'm not the most comfortable rp'ing with someone who is younger than that. I'm in nursing school, so I'm not always the most active, but I will try to be! I also would like to get at least a full paragraph for posts (3-5 sentences), but more is definitely welcome. But I also get if it's just not workable with the previous post. I'm not the most interested in this being super smutty, but I guess having an understanding that that takes place between the two?

Anyway, I'm going to give the plot, and then the perspective of what happened between the two of them. There are some variations of what I wrote for each perspective, so I apologize for that.

Plot Kinda

You try anything, and I’ll make sure you regret it.”
Bianca froze, her mind racing. She nodded, her voice calm despite the tremor in her hands. “Then let me do my work,” she said, masking the fear that clawed at her throat.
It wasn’t enough. Luca’s eyes narrowed, suspicion hardening his features. He shoved her against the workbench, his grip unrelenting. “You think I don’t know? You could kill me with a drop of something in your tea. So maybe I make sure you don’t have the chance.”
His actions were calculated, not frantic—born of a lifetime of distrust and a warped sense of survival. He forced her into submission, his hands rough and his words laced with menace. Bianca’s resistance was met with sharp warnings and a chilling reminder of his strength. It was over quickly, but the memory of it lingered far longer than the act itself.
When he finally released her, he looked down at her trembling form with something like regret flickering in his eyes, though he said nothing. He cleaned his wound with water she handed him in silence, then left, the door slamming behind him.
For days afterward, Bianca moved through her routines like a ghost, her mind replaying the moment again and again. She scrubbed the floor until her fingers bled, as though she could erase his presence from her space. Yet no matter how hard she tried, she couldn’t scrub away the memory of his hands on her or the quiet shame that whispered she should have done more to stop him.
When Luca returned a week later, unannounced, her heart seized. He stood in the doorway, his posture less aggressive but no less imposing. He didn’t apologize—not with words, at least—but the look in his eyes was different. She didn’t scream or cower when she saw him, even as his bloodied form filled the doorway. Instead, her dark eyes narrowed, her hand drifting toward something on the workbench.
It was that movement that set his nerves alight. He had been betrayed before—by partners, by lovers, by people who had once sworn loyalty. He couldn’t afford to trust anyone, least of all a woman whose trade involved potions and poisons. In his world, trust was a liability that ended with a knife in your back.
Luca’s mind raced as he watched her move. She was calm—too calm for his liking. His own survival instincts began to twist his perception, turning her silence into something menacing. “Stop,” he growled, his hand darting out to grip her wrist. Her eyes widened, and he saw fear flicker for a moment. It was fleeting, replaced by a flash of defiance that unnerved him even more.
“I said stop,” he repeated, his voice rising, though he hated how desperate it sounded.
She didn’t fight him, not at first, but her silence was louder than any scream. It felt like an accusation like she saw through him in a way no one else had. That terrified him. He tightened his grip, his breathing uneven.
The decision came not from malice but from a dark, instinctive place. Luca had learned to take control in situations where he felt powerless and to assert dominance as a way to survive. The world had taught him that violence was often the only language anyone listened to. That night, the fear of being vulnerable, of being at someone else’s mercy, consumed him.
“If I don’t, you’ll turn on me,” he muttered, almost to himself. “You’re not as innocent as you look.”
The words felt hollow even as he spoke them, but they gave him a twisted justification for what he was about to do. He shoved her against the workbench, his movements mechanical, his mind a whirlwind of anger and self-loathing. As he forced her submission, a part of him screamed to stop, but the walls he had built around his conscience were too thick.
It wasn’t until it was over, until he saw her trembling form and the cold fury in her eyes, that the weight of what he had done began to sink in. He picked up his dagger and left without another word, the taste of shame bitter in his mouth.
That night, as he lay in the shadows of an abandoned warehouse, Luca couldn’t escape the memory of her face—not the fear, but the disgust and the defiance. Character A is a lonely man who cannot for the life of him get over the fact that he lost his only teenage son several years back. His wife is long gone and he has nobody and nothing save the old rickety house he lives in.

One day he comes across Character B, which is a rich kid and kind of a bully at times. The only people who like him like him for his money and popularity but not because of his personality.

Character A snatches Character B and takes him back to his old house where he acts like B is his son. This goes on so long until finally B forgets who he is and really doesn't remember who he is himself. Is he the same person, or is he a lost boy in a world of darkness?

Hello! A new roleplay group has been created for all of you fantasy roleplayers. Using the intricate and beautiful races and classes from Dungeons and Dragons, we have crafted an open world roleplay for anyone to interact with in any way they would like!

You can do individual roleplays, create intricate relationships and collaborations, and create all of your fantasy characters here! It's very neat, organized, and aesthetic. Moderators are active at almost all times should you need anything, but this is your free and safe space to build characters, we have just given a base world!

"We" are the three moderators who have sunk many resources and hours into building this group up, so here's who we have on the team!

Isabella, who is the orderly one who keeps the chaos to a minimum. She also has a wonderful aesthetic eye! Definitely go to her if you need anything. Rory will be sleeping. If you need something in the morning, she'll probably be here.

Rory, who has partnered with Isabella to do the aesthetics of the group. We have written and designed everything together, but aesthetics are my passion, so any aesthetic needs can be brought to yours truly. If you need something in the dead of night to the buttcrack of dawn, I got you, bro.

Charlie, who is responsible for the amazing deity list she has made from scratch! All of the gods are unique in this group and it is thanks to her! She's less chatty and more of a roleplayer when she's online, but she's here if Isabella and I are off playing video games all the same!

I'll Follow You Through Time -Reincarnated Vampire Love (Lover dies tragically in a cycle)

I will give a simple explanation of my idea and see if it interests anyone! If so, I am happy to elaborate further! Bold is Your character,  Muse A , the Vampire! (Spoilered to avoid word vomit)

Muse A  was turned back in the early 1600's, the time of the New World and a turn over of old times. I will leave the main backstory up to you! He meets Muse B, a human working for a Cobbler/Baker in a small village on the coast of England and the two are entrapped in a secretive whirlwind of a romance. Muse B was not aware of  Muse A's vampiric status, as two men in love was dangerous enough without the knowledge of a Vampire partner. The two would spend a short but passionate time together before tragedy struck leading to Muse B's early death which sent  Muse A  into a dark state.

Fast forward to a few hundred years,  Muse A  bumps into a similar face, the one he had loved so much all those years ago. The difference? He was not that man. But they shared a face.  Muse A  had never believed in reincarnation but here Muse B was, living, breathing, full of life. It was hard not to fall all over again.  Muse A  and Muse B would fall into their old ways,  Muse A  charming Muse B as he did all that time ago, and they would live a few happy years again together, Muse B none the wiser he was reliving his past lives' own story, still unaware of the mans true nature. As if almost cursed to be broken over and over, Muse B is killed in what seems another fateful tragedy, leaving  Muse A  to once again wander the Earth alone and wondering what went wrong.

This happened again. Then again. He realized his love would appear every few lifetimes, so he would spend his time searching the world for where he would be next. Always finding him but knowing he should stay away as surely he was cursed to lose that he loved most. Yet he never could. He kept coming back, kept meeting that man he could not part from and they would fall into their same patterns. Living each new time, each new century together. Blissful years together before a cruel departure. It had become almost unbearable, soon he slowed his search,  Muse A's  heart far too heavy to handle the loss of one more. So he stopped searching. He settled down (in the location we would begin) and he never looked again. Years went by, centuries. Modern day was upon him, bustling cities and concrete. Cars and train systems. He had grown into the new world once more but roamed it as an empty man. He had grown cold, hating the world he had been forced to live for eternity within. He had turned to dark ways to fill the voids within him.

One fateful day, Muse A  had been perusing an old art museum, admiring work from the time he was just a boy and reminiscing when a familiar laugh rang through the large ornate halls of the building. He turned to come to view the same man he had dared not dream about all those years, standing in front of a small exhibit of modern twists of old works, the man a painter himself and passionately telling of his endeavors. He had not searched for him, yet he sill found him and the tell tale race of his heart and sinking of the stone in his gut proved he had not lost that love for him, yet the fear remained. Was he cursed? Did he dare even attempt to enter this young man's life in fear of his early demise? Did cold, lonely centuries go by only to be tempted by what he wanted most? How cruel the world to be to have this man standing mere feet from him, radiating with that light he had learned to cherish so, so many times. (hide spoiler)]

In a kingdom ruled by vampires, humans are second-class citizens, taxed not in gold but in blood. To maintain order, the royal family has established a lottery: one human from each village is chosen to serve the vampires for a year. These humans are trained to be blood courtesans, offering both their blood and companionship to the elite.

Amara, a human healer with a rebellious streak, is horrified when her younger sister is chosen. Determined to protect her, Amara secretly takes her place, disguising her identity and vowing to undermine the vampires from within.

Enter Lord Kael, the brooding vampire general tasked with overseeing the courtesans’ safety. Feared by both humans and his own kind, Kael is rumored to be a monster in both battle and temperament. When he discovers Amara’s defiance, he’s enraged by her actions, but secretly intrigued , sensing there’s more to her than meets the eye.

The Tension:
Kael is assigned to guard Amara as she serves the royal family, a duty he performs with cold efficiency. Yet, as he watches her navigate the dangerous, manipulative world of the vampire elite, her defiance catches his attention. She refuses to bow meekly, her sharp tongue and quiet resistance setting her apart from the other courtesans.

At first, Kael is nothing but cold and curt with Amara, treating her as just another duty to be fulfilled. He keeps his distance, his commands clipped and impersonal, making it clear that he has no intention of fraternizing with a mere human, especially one serving the royal family. Amara, for her part, responds to his aloofness with defiance, meeting his icy demeanor with sharp retorts and a fiery determination to remind him she isn’t intimidated. Yet, as days turn to weeks, Kael finds himself unable to look away from her. Her strength in the face of her circumstances and the quiet dignity she carries despite her role begin to gnaw at his resolve. Even when she frustrates him with her sharp tongue, he’s drawn to the spark in her eyes—a spark that refuses to be dimmed, no matter how hard the world around her tries.

To Kael’s frustration, his interest in her deepens when the royal family takes a particular liking to Amara, often summoning her for their entertainment. The jealousy that burns within him is unfamiliar and unwelcome, yet he suppresses it, telling himself it’s nothing more than a passing distraction. His sense of duty demands that he remain impartial, even as he loathes the way they treat her, like a pawn in their twisted games.

Amara, meanwhile, begins to see cracks in Kael’s stoic exterior—moments when his gaze lingers too long or his usually sharp commands soften. Despite her hatred for vampires, she can’t ignore the flicker of vulnerability in him, the way his protective instincts seem to war with his loyalty to the crown. Their interactions become a battlefield of unspoken emotions, crackling with tension and complicated by the realization that neither of them can afford to trust the other fully.

As Amara learns more about vampire society, she discovers that Kael secretly opposes the corrupt practices of the royal court, even as he enforces their laws. He carries the guilt of countless battles and bloodshed, and his loyalty to the crown is unraveling under the weight of his conscience.

The Twist:
Amara uncovers a dark secret: the blood tax is not just a cruel practice—it’s a necessity. The vampires are cursed, their immortality tied to an ancient magic that requires human blood more often than they'd like to admit to sustain them. Without the tax, their kind would weaken and die. What’s more, Amara’s own village harbors a group of human rebels planning to assassinate the vampire king, and Amara is looking to join and tell them what she learned, an act that could spark a brutal war.

Kael learns of the plot and is ordered to crush the rebellion. When he discovers Amara’s involvement, he faces an impossible choice: betray her and remain loyal to the crown, or betray his king and risk plunging the kingdom into chaos.

The Conflict:
Kael and Amara must navigate a treacherous web of politics, betrayal, and desire as they work to prevent all-out war. Their alliance is shaky, filled with mistrust and unspoken feelings. Kael’s fear of losing Amara wars with his duty to his people, while Amara struggles with the knowledge that her actions could doom an entire race.
