~ Devine ~ | 708 comments No problem! So enemies to lovers? What do we want to do for it? Like a basic plot?

message 4: by [deleted user] (new)

~ Devine ~ | 708 comments Thank you! I like yours too!

Where should we begin?

message 11: by [deleted user] (new)

umm...I'm not sure

message 12: by ~ Devine ~ (new)

~ Devine ~ | 708 comments Do we want our characters to be in school? Like university or something? Cause we can have them be in the same classes or something.

Or they could work in the same building or for the same company. Have to work on a project together?

message 13: by [deleted user] (new)

they can be school

message 14: by ~ Devine ~ (new)

~ Devine ~ | 708 comments Okay! we could start them in an art class together?

message 15: by [deleted user] (new)

oh, yeah. We can do that!

message 17: by ~ Devine ~ (new)

~ Devine ~ | 708 comments Sorry I'm strangely not getting any notifications :/

Do we wanna jump right in then and we can wing it? Start with them in art class maybe they have to sit next to each or something

message 18: by [deleted user] (new)

yes, we can do that. And same here. thought it was just me. Either I'd get none or get them very late

message 19: by ~ Devine ~ (new)

~ Devine ~ | 708 comments Seems to be a problem for everyone then lol. I can start us off if you would like? I should have the post up shortly

~ Devine ~ | 708 comments Growing up Silas has been a silent, keep to himself, kind of person. Now that he is an adult and living on his own, nothing has changed. He lived alone and didn't really go out much either. He preferred to focus on his studies. Silas was always a couple minutes early to class that way he could get the seat that he wanted, towards the back of the classroom. He could still see the board and be out of his teachers line of sight, so they wouldn't ask him to do anything unnecessary.

So there Silas was, sitting in the back of the classroom five minutes before class has started, ignoring all the other university students who were coming in and chatting. He shoved his ear bud into his right ear and focused on his music as he drew in his sketchpad. He was currently sketching out a random person, no one in particular, just random features from the top of his head.

message 21: by [deleted user] (new)

Asahi had always been the quiet type as well. Except towards a few people he's known since childhood. They all promised to go to the same college, so that's what they did. They didn't all have the same classes which was fine. As long as they were together. Asahi was sitting in the back, trying to be alone. His friends weren't here and he didn't want to socialize.

Taking out his notebook and sketchbook, Asahi decided to draw as he waited for class to start. He's hoping he can get his art degree. He knew his parents didn't want him to be an artist, but they still supported him either way. Asahi sighed when he seen how many people were coming in now. "Great..."

message 22: by ~ Devine ~ (new)

~ Devine ~ | 708 comments This class was purely extra credit for Silas. He needed a relaxing class to counter all the math and science classes he was being forced to take for his baking degree. If you were to look at him, baking would be the last thing you would think this man wanted to do. He really hoped they wouldn't have too many routy classmates.

Silas glanced over at the guy next to him when he spoke. He raised an eyebrow at him before glancing at the crowd of people coming in. It was a fairly large room, so he expected it to be a fairly large class. He decided to mind his business and go back to his sketchbook. It wasn't long before the professor came in and started to introduce them to the class and talk about what they were going to be doing through our the year.

message 23: by [deleted user] (new)

Asahi needed this class to get his degree. He had taken a lot of art type classes, so he can be good in many forms of art and not just one. He hoped it would be fairly quiet, other than the teacher of course. It was too early for anything wild.

One of Asahi's friends snuck in the door and quietly went over to Asahi. He looked up from his sketchbook and looked shocked. "What are you doing here?" he whispered. They handed him coffee. "For you to stay awake. Love you" they replied with a smile, before they left. He shook his head. "I can't with them."

message 24: by ~ Devine ~ (new)

~ Devine ~ | 708 comments Silas was trying to pay attention to their professor but when people were sneaking in and talking right next to him, it was making it pretty difficult. On top of that the guy next to him now have coffee in an art arm. Growing up he was only ever aloud to have clear drinks because anything else could easily ruin someone's project.

He shook his head and looked back up front, just in time for the professor to tell them they are doing a partner 'Get to know your classmates.' ice breaker. Silas absolutely hated doing these, he saw no point in them when he wasn't ever going to talk to his peers outside. Worst of all they had to do it with he person right next to them.

message 25: by [deleted user] (new)

Asahi had finished his coffee fairly quickly. Luckily without accident. He looked at Silas, every once in a while. He finished his drawing and it was of Silas. He softly smiled.

When he heard they were doing an ice breaker, he instantly had a panic attack. He hated doing things like this. He wasn't much of a people type of person. He slightly pouted and looked at Silas. He knocked his sketchbook on the floor, as a reaction of his panic attack. It was still open to the drawing of Silas. It looked like it was a photo and not drawn.

message 26: by ~ Devine ~ (new)

~ Devine ~ | 708 comments Silas was unfazed by the guys freak out. He watched him as he dropped his sketchbook. "You good?" He asked. This kid was too much for him and he did not have the energy to deal with it. "We really don't have to do this if you are are going to freak out about it." He glanced down at the sketchbook but said nothing about the fact that it was him. Silas decided to do the nice thing and picked it up off the floor and hand it back to him. "Honestly think this whole thing is dumb and would rather go back what I was doing." Silas also had is earbud in the whole time, proving that he really didn't care.

message 27: by [deleted user] (new)

"Oh...Sorry. I just panic when I talk to new people. I always feel like they're going to hate me." He sighed and looked down. He was a little upset. He felt like he was being a bother to him and he didn't like being a bother. He took his sketchbook and closed it. "Th-Thank you." He paused for a moment. "If that's what you want then you can go back to what you were doing, I won't bother you" and having said that, Asahi went back to being quiet.

~ Devine ~ | 708 comments ((I was reading a webcomic that is kinda like what we are doing. And I was thinking we could have them end up being neighbors too? That way they run into each outside of school as well?))

Silas didn't say a word after he spoke. He stared down at his paper, but didn't draw anything. He was angry that he felt bad for what he said to the guy. He rolled his eyes at himself for what he was about to do. He set his pencil down and took out his earbud before facing him a little.

"My name's Silas and I apologize for my words. I just did not expect to have to do all this extra stuff." Silas may be a bit aloof but he was a honest man. He would admit when he is wrong but he is terrible at communicating his feels, runs in the family. "If you want do this paper. I'll do but don't expect to get all personal with you." The paper that had been handed out just had a bunch of silly questions on it like 'What's your favorite color?, What did you do over the summer?, You favorite type of art?.

message 29: by [deleted user] (new)

sounds good to me))

Asahi covered his face. He couldn't believe what had happened. He was feeling quite foolish now, it showed. He wished he could control when and where he panicked, but that wasn't possible at all. Asahi realized Silas was looking at him.

He hesitated but he eventually turned towards him as well. He quietly listened as Silas spoke, slightly nodding with almost every word. "I-I guess it's nice to meet you. I am A-Asahi." He was still a little nervous, but was feeling much better. He sat there in silence for a second. "Oh, it's ok. I'm not going to make you do something you don't want to. And besides, I don't want you to get personal with me. Since I know I couldn't get personal with you in return." Asahi looked at the paper and rolled his eyes. "Typical" he mumbled.

message 30: by ~ Devine ~ (new)

~ Devine ~ | 708 comments Silas didn't speak for a moment as he watched the man next to him. He really was a nervous wreck, stuttering over his words and everything. He tried his best not to get annoyed by it. He knew people couldn't control how they feel. "Well let's get this over with then." He grabbed his pencil and began to look over the questions. Some of these he was definitely going to skip over. "How about... What are you at school to study?" He asked Asahi. I had to be one of the easier questions on the page and it wasn't too intrusive. He was also glad they didn't actually have to write anything down and turn it in. This was basically a way for teachers to not have to do any work on the first day of class either.

message 31: by [deleted user] (new)

Asahi realized his stuttering was a problem. He sighed, not wanting to speak and do it again. It was just a small habit he had when nervous. "Ok, let's do it then" It was clear he was holding back by the way he had to pause a few times. "I am here studying many forms of art. Including music." Asahi was struggling with his speech, since English wasn't his first language and on top of that, he was a nervous wreck.

message 32: by [deleted user] (new)

(Wow, I just re-read this and wished we didn't stop)

message 33: by ~ Devine ~ (new)

~ Devine ~ | 708 comments (sorry!! Life really caught up to me this past month! Do you want to continue??))

message 34: by [deleted user] (new)

(Only if you want to. Sorry, I didn't see this. My notifications randomly work then don't)

message 35: by [deleted user] (new)

(or we can do something else if you want)

message 36: by ~ Devine ~ (new)

~ Devine ~ | 708 comments (Mine are the same way!

hmmm why don't we go ahead and maybe try another? We could try to come up with something with a little bit more of a plot? might be easier to get us going with that.)

message 37: by [deleted user] (new)

(ok, when I get home tho. about to take the ACT)

message 38: by [deleted user] (new)

(so, I'm ready. If you have ideas then I'm willing to listen)

message 39: by ~ Devine ~ (new)

~ Devine ~ | 708 comments (oof the ACT was not a fun time for me. I'm a terrible test taker.

Hmmm maybe we could do a guy and his older siblings best friend? Maybe the best friend tags along on a family vacation and they have to take the younger sibling with them wherever they go?

Or something like that.))

message 40: by [deleted user] (new)

(Yeah, I hated it but it's done, over.

that could work.)

message 41: by ~ Devine ~ (new)

~ Devine ~ | 708 comments (okay!
1. Who would you want to be? I don't mind being neither person.

2. We could start off with them already on the vacation and the older brother and friend go to a small concert and have to bring the younger sibling with. And maybe the best friend ends up protecting the younger sibling from some creep?))

message 42: by ~ Devine ~ (new)

~ Devine ~ | 708 comments ((and that's where the sparks start??))

message 43: by [deleted user] (new)

(I'll be the younger sibling and I actually like that idea)

message 50: by ~ Devine ~ (new)

~ Devine ~ | 708 comments "Mom I don't want to have to babysit all night!" Maverick could hear his best friend, Kei, shouting from across the hall. He was currently in their hotel room getting ready for the concert that they had been planning to go to for weeks now, but the only way Kei could go was if they brought along his younger brother, Kim. Maverick didn't care either way as long as he got to go to this show. Looking in the mirror, he pulled his hair back and up into a messy bun, so it was out of his face. He sipped on his boots and walked out of their room and to where Kei currently was talking to their mom. He quickly butted in before she could decided that she didn't want them going at all. "Sorry to interrupt but we would love to take him along." He wacked Kei on the back to tell him to chut up before he made the situation worse.
