I dare you to guess the climax. You'll love it! But don’t just take my word for it—read it and see for yourself.

"What we want to see and what is real are rarely the same thing."

The Twin Detectives are on the trail of a chilling serial killer—the Hammer Whisperer, whose brutal murders leave behind more questions than answers. When a rich young woman is found dead in her home, suspicion falls on those closest to her. What seemed an open and shut case at first only becomes more twisted than ever as the investigation progresses.

Who is the killer, and who is telling the truth?

Dive into this gripping mystery where every twist keeps you guessing until the very end. The truth will unravel in ways you never expected, and it'll leave you questioning everything you thought you knew.

Will the Twin Detectives uncover the real killer? Find out in Shattered Faces.

Read it, enjoy it, and if you like it, please leave a review. Your support means a lot.

Carolyn | 1613 comments Wild Dark Shore by Charlotte McConaghy Wild Dark Shore by Charlotte McConaghy is destined to be one of my favourite books this year. Set on a ruggedly beautiful isolated island midway between Tasmania and Antarctica, it is a gripping tale of the family who have been its caretakers for the last eight years, but are now preparing to leave as climate change threatens to engulf it. A mystery woman washes up on the shore has come looking for answers to secrets that they are hiding from her.

Stephen B. (stephenbrindza) | 13 comments Sophie's Choice. In large-print, 1,226 pages of 1947 sex-crazed narrator and 1943 Auschwitz horrors. I know her choice (actually many choices), and I know nothing here ends well.

This is likely the longest book I've ever read, unless unedited Stranger In A Strange Land has it beat. I just want it over with!
