Welcome to FBR's 2023 Monthly Reading Challenge!

March's Challenge: Either donate or read a few books you've been hanging onto for more than 10 years!

With all the new, shiny books coming out, it can be hard to remember those neglected little paperbacks you bought a decade ago keeping your shelf company. Let's dust off those tattered shelves and get ready for the new season by giving those old books some love. Let go of the ones you know you're never going to read and make time this month to crack the spine (figuratively... don't damage your books, you heathens) on at least a few of the others. :)

If you want to participate, create your own tracker thread in this folder if you haven't already. Then comment below to tell us which books you're considering for the challenge! :)

Monika | 2325 comments Seems like on my list for this month is only one book standing on my shelf unread for more then 10 years... Silmarillion... Started once, but stuck after few pages, so maybe I'll finally read it...

On Goodreads you can see the date that you added the book. If you've been on GR for over 10 years that could be helpful. That helped me somewhat. I had to think harder about how long I've had some of my physical books though.

Yeah, that doesn't help me, sadly.... I've only really started using Goodreads in the past 5 years or so, though I did add all the books I could think of that I had already read 10 years ago, but only started adding to TBR in like the past 5, and I never clocked all the books I own that I've had sitting around the house for decades... I might have to just go by publication date!

And all of my books physical books are still in boxes, waiting for me to build them new bookshelves this summer...
