William Kelly (wfkelly)
Head over to William's Café to get my thoughts on the books that I'm reading.

Latest Book(s) Read:

Slaughterhouse-Five, by Kurt Vonnegut [*****]

description

I fell in love with reading for the first time in 2022. After 27 years of being told to read in school, and reading for my doctoral degree, I finally gave leisure reading a shot. The books that I'll be reading are a mix of academic and fiction books. I try to keep my Goodreads to leisure reads only. But if I read an academic book all the way through, I'm for sure going to put it up here!

Favorite Books:

The Count of Monte Cristo, by Alexandre Dumas
The Stone Face, by William Gardner Smith
Anne of Green Gables, by L.M. Montgomery
The Road, by Cormac McCarthy
Slaughterhouse-Five, by Kurt Vonnegut

bailey (bailsbookshelves) | 1223 comments So happy to hear you've found a love for reading after years of being required to do so! It's so liberating to be able to read books solely for fun and not for an assignment, paper, or quiz.

As for your goal, feel free to change it as you see fit! We can always move this thread to the appropriate folder if it goes above 50 :)

Lisa Grønsund | 6163 comments Welcome to the group , William :)
You could lways adjust it as you need later in the year, either way 30 or 50 books, is still a great goal.

Hope you discover some new favorites this year aswell.
