This was another one that I thought was good but not great. Nice to see it though - not least because it's one of the few predictions I got right.

I liked this one a lot, although it's quite uneven, I enjoyed the perspective on China's history and culture.

I struggled with this one and ended up not finishing it - not sure whether I'll give it another chance or not.

Perhaps it is relative to the competition, and I'm also inclined to like any book Honford Star publish, but I really liked this - shortlist material for me.

I'd like to see this on the list too. I'm looking forward to their edition of The Specters of Algeria and the new Bora Chung collection later this year.

Just reviewed this today, definitely a possible shortlister (in the alternative Shadow universe, of course).
