I Read Comic Books discussion

Don't know if anyone else is attending, that 60 Years of X-Men event is on Marvel Unlimited tonight at 7 EST. I'll be there. Not sure if you can still sign up. The one last year about Spider-Man was cool with a ton of giveaways. There's a lot of past X-Men creators that will be on this. Both Chris Claremont and Grant Morrison are involved along with several others.

I really dug it but it was long, almost 2 and a half hours. Lot of big time X-Men creators, Chris Claremont, Louise and Walt Simonson, Rob Liefeld, Mark Silvestri, Grant Morrison, Jonathan Hickman. And then some creators from the Fox cartoon and two of the current editors. This one was on Zoom. The one they did last year for Spider-Man was on a different platform that was more interactive, I can't remember the name. Some cool giveaways of new toys but I didn't win anything. C'est la vie.

Marvel Unlimited is running a special of $55 for the first year with the code HOLIDAY23 until January 4th.

If you read digital comics, this is by far the best way to get access to all of Marvel's back catalog that is available. You do have to wait 3 months for new comics to get added but this is my modern version of the dollar bin where I read all the comics that I don't like enough to own but still want to read.

Marvel Unlimited is on sale this week if anyone is looking to get it. It's $45 for the year.
