I saw that one in my library. I'll have to get through the Stephen King book, and the one set in China first, but it looks interesting, like you said.

@Dawn please add Down Among the Dead to your shelf

X-Files - Read a book that features a friends to lovers trope
X marks the spot - Read a book with bling on the cover - something treasure-worthy

I am so happy right now - not that it's finished, but at how good it was :)

Sounds good. I'm reading one for that task, but it's going slowly. I think you will finish sooner!!

I am reading Wait for It which is friends to lovers (more neighbours to friends to lovers).
I also think You and Me on Vacation is friends to lovers? I am going to be mostly reading it this month but seems like Kylie has already read it this month.

the one I'm reading could also go towards pink in a rainbow, if need be :)

10 Things the Chipmunks Love - Lobsters! - Read a book with a creature with 10 limbs on the cover (e.g. lobster, shrimp, crab)
X-Files - Read a book that is connected to a TV show (e.g. Daisy Jones & the Six turned into a show; a JB Fletcher book from Murder, She Wrote)

I recently read One of Us Is Next whose part 1 One of Us Is Lying was made into a series and it was renewed for S2 - not sure if we can use this
I also read The Office BFFs: Tales of The Office from Two Best Friends Who Were There in June but it might be used in Rainbow

Agreed! Will use Amy's book for 3 people on cover

Perfect thanks! We had it in rainbow for a new tower, but blue isn't a tough colour so I will move it around

Update
Page Towers
We have completed the 200-299 and 300-399 range :)
It is those bigger books that will likely be tough again this month if you have any to pull out of the archives!
Chipmunks
If possible, let's fill these tasks with 200-399 page books as we have already completed those categories. The other categories we still need to fill the base tower this month. For extra points for those bigger books though, you can choose one with a lovely coloured cover!

12. Read a book by Gillian Anderson, or an author named Gillian
24. Read a book with a creature with 10 limbs on the cover (e.g. lobster, shrimp, crab)

Thanks! I have updated
Thanks! I have updated

I'll look to see if I have anything with author initials in TEN or X in author name. Not sure what I have in my stash at the moment.

Lethal Wedding

That was brutal.
I don't think I want to buy anything ever again...
It is set in China.

Yikes I can imagine. My husband goes out of his way to try and avoid imports from China but it is very difficult.
We absolutely stay away from Tik Tok though!

new task
27. Read a book with an ordinal number in the title (e.g. The 5th Wave, Second Foundation)
I also found an existing book in our read pile that had an X in the author name (task 17) so we got another new task (perhaps more difficult this time!!)
28. Read a book where a character name starts with X
Rainbows

Just a reminder that we have only read 10/30 of our 400-499 page books, so if you have any in that page range or larger it is a good time to get started :)

I've assigned some of our older books to tasks where they worked so new tasks have been updated above

I've decided to DNF it, I don't want to get intoa reading slump because of a book I wasn't enjoying
