Page Towers
We ony have 16/20 of the 500-599 page range claimed so if you have any you can grab for this month that would be great!
Chipmunks
If possible, let's fill these tasks with 100-399 page books as we have already completed those categories. The other categories we still need to fill the base tower this month. For extra points for those bigger books though, you can choose one with a lovely coloured cover!
Rainbows
We have completed 9 which is awesome!
I have noticed books marked as read where the colour of the cover wasn't noted on the spreadsheet. Remember, we can keep doing these the whole challenge :)
We have another 5 underway - blue and black seem to be the easiest to get, so other colours are appreciated!
Spell it out
The only letters not included here are Q and Z. I've added a table with formulas to the tracking sheet so you can see how many of each letter are required v completed.

We have 13 days left in this month so if you can grab a big book, ideally with a lovely color please do.
I have a short book for X author I can knock out after I’ve finished my booker novel
Welcome back Louise!
Beautiful winters day today. Went cycling with the kids and hung out in the sun while we made pit stops at playgrounds for the kids.
Meant to have a night around the fire pit with family but one of the cousins has hand foot and mouth so instead we are staying in and watching the football.
Probably more of the same tomorrow!

Thanks for the recommendation, Amy. I’ll keep an eye out for it as I think that would be a good one to read with the kids

X-Rays - Read a book that gets under the skin of something (be creative - a psychological thriller, a non-fiction investigation)
This could be a fiction book that gives you chills
Psychological Thriller or psychological horror
Investigative non-fiction such as on Best FBI Non Fiction
Or you could use something within the story/title
The Surgeon a serial killer tortures his victims by cutting them.

I plan to read for 59. Read a book featuring pirates (or privateers)
if nobody else is because I am reading Vengeance of the Pirate Queen this week for another challenge anyway.

So I will concentrate on finishing all my books, several of which are 400+ pages, but I won't be of much help grabbing specific tasks unless I get lucky. Like I'm reading a book by someone from Hong Kong but I think we got the Chinese author already.
Vicki wrote: "I also have an 800+ page book I want to read, so would that count for any of our page counts? I can also do 500-599 book but not sure I can do both at the same time."
It does count, but we are more short on 500-599 pages for this month :)

No one has the China book, so I've put you down :)

Now I'm moving to a 500+

It was excellent.
It could work for blue, letters, or 53 - it's set in and out of school life, mostly because that is the main character's age.

Perfect!

It does count, ..."
OK, I'll be doing both.

The default is 544 pages so if you are listening to audio that is the page count. Otherwise we go off the edition you are reading - if you have the ISBN or ASIN I can check it for you

I have confirmed with the captains group it can be first name or surname starting with X 🙌😊

Yay! Thanks :)

I don't see an ISBN or ASIN number but I am reading the Kindle version, 537 pages so I'll go with that.

I think fans of Percy Jackson would enjoy it quite a bit.

I also finished a book I read on vacation, and I started it in paper, read most of it on Kindle while traveling, and then finished it in paper. Which edition should I use? A Half-Built Garden
In this case it doesn't matter much (336 vs 340 pages) but I've done that with a handful of books this week so I just wanted to check if there was a rule. I'll try to go with my best guess of where I read most of it unless the captains rule otherwise.
Also, I should change the audio A Longer Fall to only 100 pages because although they don't admit it on the goodreads page it is definitely abridged. I should have caught that when I reported it but it was after a long day of travel. I think it's already been checked so I don't want to change it until the captains know what is up.

Ahh my bad - here is the post to all my links

X-Men - Read a book with the word Angel in the title
10 Awards - Read a book that won an Edgar

I can read The Laughing Policeman, 1971 Best Novel.

You need to have read them during the 3 month period of the challenge and answer questions within the month of the BOM.
You can re-read a book as long as it’s been longer than 6 months since you last read it.

Thank you. 😀

N- Z are in columns N-Q

👍

I had the same question. I read Carrie Soto Is Back less than 6 months ago but not during the challenge, that means I would not be able to participate in the DQs fo points right unfortunately?

That’s right. I read it in January so I can do a re-read

I'll check!

I'm interested in that one. I have seen a couple different people on YouTube talk about it and they loved it.
