Tati | 1350 comments I'm reading Plays Well With Others, but there is no Kindle edition here on GR. Amazon says it's 424 pages.

Do we have a librarian in the group who could kindly add the Kindle edition?

Kindle edition is here, it just hasn't been combined with the others. I'll do that now

Happy Sunday!

I finished the BOM Fourth Wing (The Empyrean, #1) by Rebecca Yarros
Not for me, but I can see the appeal for YA readers

Now I am starting a 600+ A Plague of Giants (Seven Kennings, #1) by Kevin Hearne which has been on my TBR since 2017 :o

On Wednesday morning...very early... we fly out to Singapore. So I won't be around much for the last part of the challenge but I will be reading quite a bit on the 9 hour flight and hopefully as we relax by the pool ;)

Random 10 - Read a book where you can see ten fingers or toes (or combination) on the cover
X-Rays - Read a book with bone(s) on the cover
Random 10 - Read a book that is #10 - 19 in a series

We only have one color book left! Go team!!

We've got more for the spell outs and chipmunks and wheel - so lots of spaces left :)

I think we're doing great.

Melissa | 1895 comments I'm working through Winter of the World which is 900 pages or so. Working on finishing the BOM. Then, I'll see what we need :)

It's funny - with all those romance books, there's not often a bed on the cover - they're all standing - lol

message 1018: by Beth (new)

Beth | 1659 comments So in Daughter of the Empire the antagonist gets thrown through a screen and falls out of the building to her death. I think that's very close to defenestration, as the screens are sorta Japanese windows -- they are there to let the light in and stuff.

Does that work?

As it was more than 500pages we would not have been able to claim it for page towers if we used for a chipmunk task.

Vicki (goodreadscomboobooper49) | 2326 comments Louise, I am so frustrated today with the Internet here in Florida at my sister’s house. I can’t get on my laptop for some reason but I can get on my phone which doesn’t allow me to do everything. I added Chase to my Tower teams shelf, so will you please confirm that it is there?

I’m not sure about my other book, but I will see if I can figure out some way to fix that.

message 1034: by Vicki (new)

Vicki (goodreadscomboobooper49) | 2326 comments Louise, since I can’t access my spreadsheet to see what I have on there I’m not positive I did the right thing. But I think I had the book listed for 336 pages and had it on the Kindle page count. Will you please double check for me and see if I fixed it correctly? Sorry to be a pain in the you-know-what!

Hello from Singapore!
It is very warm and humid and we flew in about 3pm yesterday and went to the pool and just a short walk to the river for dinner. I was so tired that by 8pm I was asleep!
Naturally up at 5am today. Haha.
Working on a few books and will update again before we head to Thailand as the internet here is good but I’m not sure once we get to the National Park in Thailand .

I hope everyone is having a great week!

message 1047: by Beth (new)

Beth | 1659 comments I've had a bit of readers block and seemed like I couldn't finish anything, so I put my intimidating pile of currently-readings aside for a day and read the new Anita Blake Smolder, which cheered me up.

I also finished a little book I've been savoring all summer Ascendance of a Bookworm: Part 5 Volume 4-- I read a tiny bit when I wake up. And the author has a ten character name and the translator's name starts with a Q (if we need any of those).

Now I'll see if I can get traction on my other books...
