I feel like I haven't posted to this thread in a while so just stopping by to say I'm still here!! Just chugging along on A Breath of Snow and Ashes still. I only have 15 hours left of the (almost 58-hr) audiobook — which is only about 7.5 hours at my listening speed — so I should definitely get it done this week.

I'm about 3/4 done with the back room BOM too so should have that finished in the next day or two.

I apologize for my absence. It has been a month of medical issues for my family. My son-in-law is STILL in hospital and my son is scheduled for colon surgery early next month. Between hospital visits and taking care of grandkids I have time to read but not time to be on my computer to post. I don't want to hold you guys back. So if there is someone else who wants to take my place on the team I totally understand. I can mark my books as read but it doesnt work well to post and tag them.

I'm here too - faithfully reading all of your posts and trying to finish a book to contribute. I only signed up for 2 books per month, and since I joined the team halfway through May, it will likely be just one this time. But I will be finishing Under the Never Sky on audio. It's 374 pages, so it won't help with the core tower, but it should help with some mini challenge or other.

I’m not sure if I mentioned it, but I was able to get a copy of The Box in the Woods which has a lovely dark purple cover for our full rainbow tower.

Don't worry about it! GR is a little odd with read dates at times. It isn't unknown that read dates don't always take. Sometimes it happens more, sometimes it happens less, but it seems to always be there.

I'm so sorry to hear this. That is definitely a lot to have on your plate. I hope your son-in-law can be out of hospital soon, and I hope your son's surgery will go well!!

It is absolutely no bother to pick your read books from your TT shelf, if you still want to keep playing. It might help a little with distraction from time to time? The books will still work for page numbers, spell-outs and whatever other obvious tasks we can find - someone may also have read the books and can help out with that - even if you can't post them here :-)

It's definitely been an undertaking! And why I tend to only read one per year (although I did read two in one TT once . . . lol). It helps that I watch the show and I'm behind so book 6 events have mostly already happened in the show. It's a lot easier to follow along with all the names and events when I can picture specific faces for all of them!

And I wouldn't say the back room BOM is NOT driving me bonkers but I am powering through hahaha.
