can we use those names of significant people as character names? - thanks

For non-fiction, it depends a lot on the book.

A memoir can be non-fiction but written as a story (for example Eat, Pray, Love) which arguably has characters and locations. Whereas a non-fiction book like Dare to Lead, no matter how nicely Brene mentions people, they aren't characters.

The important thing to remember is that characters need to have meaning to the story and dialogue for them to count towards the spell-out. This goes for fiction as well, not just non-fiction.

Haha that IS odd!
But we have plenty of Cs in the spell-out so putting it there for now - we can always switch things if need be :-)

Hmmm... I think maybe not. Since it's more a collection of his blog posts and commentary thereof rather than written like an actual story/novel.
Also, sorry, not enough yellow *hides*
Definitely can use author and title for spell-out though!

Eta: one more important thing (for everyone really):
Setting/Location is not part of the spell-out for this challenge!

I liked it but then I'm a J R Ward fan. She's bought this series back in sync with the BDB. But it ends on quite a few unresolved issues so I hope Book 3 isn't too far away.

And yes, it works for orange for sure. No quick way however to search for the book on mod shelves, except one after the other.

Sally906 | 1765 comments Will be a slow reading day today - big croquet competing today which hubby and I are competing in. Then when we get home the TV will be turned on and this little royalist will be waving her Union Jack flag and Aussie flag and settled in to watch King Charles III’s coronation. I am already besides myself with excitement.

On the other hand my wonderful anti-Royal hubby is filled with horror at the prospect of a royal evening. He will retire to the other room and watch his international rugby on the other TV.

So that’s my Saturday 😀👍

A friend of mine has been there for a week - leaves today on the train for Scotland. She booked, and paid in full, her hotel for this week 2 days before the coronation announcement. The day it was announced the prices per night in the hotel tripled for the same week my friend is there and last night and tonight they quadrupled! Because she had paid in full they couldn’t charge her more.
She too mentioned the buzz she’s been down in Cornwall and up in the Cotswolds for the weeks previous to this week and she said there is bunting in just about every village she visited.

I know, Sally. I had booked our hotel last year but with all the covid kerfuffle and trying to get money back last time we tried to go, I just did with a fixed price but depending on the exchange rate on the day and free cancellation up to 24 hours before. When we changed our plans and I tried to modify to 2 days instead of 3 it was more expensive for the 2 days than our original booking of 3 days, so I just left it and told them we'd be arriving in the morning instead of the night before. The prices in Central London at the moment are unreal. Leaving tomorrow.. usual excited nerves.
