a good set of 5⭐s for me, in particular those I might not have gotten to without this challenge
Bleak House - had tried and failed a few years ago, but the challenge helped motivate to try again (and finish 1000+pages) - extraordinary -*nudge to Insiyah*
The City of Brass - I usually only join group reads that are already on my TBR - but this was sitting, waiting on the library shelf - so picked it up, and loved it
The War of the Worlds - quick read to fill a gap on a wheel - surprised how much I enjoyed it
there were three books that landed at ⭐⭐ for me, we won't dwell
also, despite all the extra reading, my TBR list is now longer that it was at the start!
lots of great recommendations from this group
Haha oops! That is the kind of #sorrynotsorry moment of team challenges, when the TBR magically grows larger while reading many books ;-)
I was happily surprised by The City of Brass as well. I enjoyed it even more than I thought I would. But I was more surprised by how much fun I had while reading Kings of the Wyld. I had not expected so much sarcasm and humour to be woven into this epic fantasy story. That was a lovely surprise!
Apart from the backroom BOMs, there were no bad books I read for TT, but those low ratings are program, so not really a surprise ;-) And A Brush with Death, which was not entirely unexpected either because that kind of cozy mystery and I do not work.
Eta: oh wait! I've already completely forgotten about the Strelecky book, which I hated with a passion.

I know!!!! I'll read it when I'm back in the UK, promise!

And sorry I had such a reading slump July 🤦🏼♀️"
I kept waiting for your verdict on the final book!! ;-))
But don't worry. This can happen to anyone :-)

Shoutout to the team captains and co captains for keeping everything organized! TT is one of my favorite challenges

Good luck kicking that habit! I did the "my restaurant rocks" challenge where we had to make meals out of food words in books . . . my brain took extra notice of food words for MONTHS afterwards! It still kind of does honestly . . .

Oh me too. Especially the word "vinegar".
See everyone next challenge. As team mates.. or frenemies!
