You all checked in! Here are the results for bonus points -

2. Coast Busters - 20 pts

Unfortunately, Shadow Sprinters, you have checked in after 6 PM EST and aren't eligible for bonus points. You have received a penalty and will lose 50 bonus points.

Winners were chosen via list randomizer and bonus points were decided in a wheel decide (other options were - 20,10,0; 30,15,5; 20,10,5).

Bonus points will be added in your next score update. Points are awarded for the whole team - not individually. Also, tasks for Speed Bumps and Switchback will be revealed tomorrow.

Hi teammies. I've been sick for the past few days so I didn't get much reading done this week. I'll probably finish my books tomorrow .

okay! i'm doing my final reviews and updates.
i'll do another look through the spreadsheet to see if i can move anything to count as points for us this round. If not, ill see what they'll count for tomorrow for the next leg.

I’m not sure which time zone they go by. I could have sworn I saw eastern time zone somewhere. But maybe that doesn’t apply to this. Id say post it anyway if it’s before 1159 pm in your time zone.

Detour List - Looks like we are going with the Rivers list.

These are all shorter books, so i can definitely do more than one.

Our UTURN ;
Read a book where the main character is still in school (i.e., middle school, high school, college, etc.) and has been translated into 5 different languages (you will need to check other editions of the book)

BabyLunLun's book "Triple Thread" fits route info - 13. Read a book where the main characters first name starts with a letter in NILE for the character Landry.

Trisha's book "Liar, Dreamer, Thief" fits route info - 4. Read a book with a black cover

Those are the only other banked books as of now. <3

I can't recall either. It must be hard to keep track of though. Especially if there is anyone outside of the US.

Is it a book or graphic novel? I saw you claimed volumes 1 - 3, and i also claimed two books, so we should be good if the page count is good.

but if anyone else wants to take out one of my claims for detour, feel free! but i think we can have more than 5 too.

Speedbump and switchback tasks have been revealed - sorry for taking so long. Had a lot of things planned this weekend and just found the time to do this.

Shia - those graphic novels only count for page points then. Graphic novels count as 1/4 pages. Poetry counts has half.

I'm trying to catch up on reviews today - but do they have to be read within each leg of the journey? Because some of mine might be earlier. I'm still trying to get to grips with this lol

did you see my comment about the graphic novels? They won't count as a full read unfortunately. Graphic novels are only counted as 1/4 pages. so they'd need to be 400 pages each to count as a full read. Do you watn to choose different books for the spreadsheet so we can make sure we have enough for the detour?
