I am so glad we did too. This series has been amazing and I still have no idea how someone can write as such a high level book after book.

Awesome! I also have the this one and the next. I still won't be able to get to this for another week or closer to mid April if that's okay?
I'm reading two books right now and I just started them.

Yeah, I probably won’t be ready to start by the 15th either. Playing catch-up still. Need to finish the Malazan book as fast as I can to join a group reading Illborn that I agreed to read with - and I haven’t started Babylon's Ashes yet either! 😬

That’s fine, I wasn’t starting early or anything. I saw it in my stack o books to read, that’s all.

Too true! I was doing good schedule-wise until I threw that extra book in there, and now it’s all blown up 😂

I picked up the book Bad Men, also by John Connolly. Some of the paperbacks I have listed it after The White Road in the timeline although Charlie isn’t really in it. I think we need to work it in at some point.

I’m ok with that.

Since I got caught up on The Expanse book on my road trip, I should be able to start on this one this weekend.

I haven’t wanted to stop reading this! I’m up to ch18 (which is about 80 pages in my copy). (view spoiler)[ This series of four or five chapters right before this has been very creepy! I’ve loved the vibe. I have to admit, I wasn’t expecting the kid to get it at the end of ch17! The mom, yes, as there had been so much fore-shadowing, but not the kid. (hide spoiler)]

I’m finally starting tonight and looking forward to your spoilers Terry. I had to get a bit more reading done on The Silent Companions since it’s a library book and I’m running out of days! 😂🤣

I went to a plant swap Saturday. It was so fun and nice meeting new people. Then Sunday I spent all day planting most of what I got. I’ll start this today.

Holy smokes!! I kind of understand how you got through this so fast though. I'm doing the audiobook for The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo and I'm a bit hooked.

When the right audiobook works, you can get through it in a couple of days. :D

At the end of ch30 (view spoiler)[ So this interplay between Charlie and the Collector is so interesting! And to not really understand what either of them actually is…is crazy. I sure hope at some point there is some more clarity.

And what about the statement The Collector makes about wanting to have a conversation with Charlie about what God really is?? Wow, curiosity is in overdrive now! (hide spoiler)]
