Gossypium | 2 comments Hi, I have a specific request. I'm searching for a story that happens in the twenties of a character. Like a coming-of-age story but happening later in life, does that make sense?
Personally, I feel like I'm starting to live my life in my twenties, and I want to read about similar experiences: learning to be comfortable in your sexuality, the people you love and like, embracing it and not backing away from the feelings anymore.
It doesn't matter to me if it's fiction, non-fiction, etc.
Thanks a lot

Phil Morin | 6 comments I would recommend the “Restoration” series by Bayla Dornon. His second series, “the Jake Bennett Adventures” also features a guy in his twenties who’s bisexual and deals with a lot of coming-of-age issues, but from the adventure-fiction genre. Bayla Dornon

June | 21 comments Two books by Casey McQuiston come to mind: One Last Stop (sapphic female protagonist, focused more on the coming-of-age part, a little bit of romance) and Red, White & Royal Blue (bi male protagonist, centered around romance but it's a coming-of-age story at its core)

Keith Costelloe You might like my book Drawn into Danger, set in Algeria, with the main character being bisexual. It is set in late 1979/1980 and has a fictional counter-espionage side to it as well. This drives the book forward, but it also deals with how jealousy can destroy rather than build a relationship.
