Amber | 17 comments I have participated in a few past Dewey's Read-a-Thon's but have never posted about it before. I thought for the Spring 2023 I would give posting a try! Thank you for setting up this forum and for building this community.

Welcome Amber. You are welcome to stop by various chat threads. Our co-moderators post questions to prompt book discussions--everyone is welcome post a little chat. Also we have reading sprints every four hours for those interested. There tell us what you plan to read/what you have read. If these things entertain you, we will welcome you.

Erin *Proud Book Hoarder* (erinpaperbackstash) | 1435 comments We're almost there! Best of luck and reading to you today!

Amber | 17 comments 1st book is complete - This is How You Lose the Time War. I listened to the audio book while I read. It was a nice way to start the morning (6 am for me). I had some family commitments and chores to take care of this morning, but I am pretty open for the next few hours and hope to get uninterrupted time. It is a nice day here, so maybe some outdoor reading.

Amber | 17 comments 2nd book completed a few hours ago, but I could not post until now. How to Sell a Haunted House. I enjoyed it a great deal, and I think reading it all in a day made it even more enjoyable. Plan to try to read a few more hours before sleep overtakes me. I am not much of a night owl...alas...

Sound like you're having a great readathon Amber!
How to Sell a Haunted House is still on my TBR, waiting for my library to acquire it.

Amber | 17 comments Slow start as I am jumping around and reading too many books at once, plus I opted to sleep.
Finished audio version of Easter Bonnet Murder (A Lucy Stone Mystery, #28) by Leslie Meier
Almost done with The Family Experiment by John Marrs
Participating in the 52 Book Club July 2024 readalong of She's Not Sorry by Mary Kubica and have read a bit of it yesterday and today too.
Talk about a chaotic reading experience, but I am loving getting to do the readathon this July.

I started today with The Unmaking of June Farrow. I am about halfway through and hoping to wrap it up this morning before I need to take a break for some chores.
