Hihi there we go! I have a few BRs planned this month, but I'm not sure how much I'll be able to read, since I'm finishing my master thesis :/ If any of you have any questions about any of the included prompts, let me know!

And, is there an easier way of finding a book in the "Read"-list?

You can choose for which task you read. It doesn't need to be a task about 'your mod'. I don't think there's any easier way to choose a book from the 'Read - list'. You just browse, I think.

I think you can maybe go to the read list of a mod you want, and then search for the book you want to read/have read. That way you can see if it shows up! And if it doesn’t show up for (for example) Saar, it might be on my list, so definitely check all of us if you’re unsure! You can also shoot me a message and ask whether I’ve read the book you want to read/have read, then I’ll check!

I loved the Stalking Jack the Ripper series!! Hope you’ll enjoy it too :)
I’ve finally picked up Scythe, and I’m loving it so much! Has anyone else read that series?

Oh damn okay! Was there anything specific (without spoiling anything ;)) that you didn’t like, or just a general vibe?
I liked book 1! Haven’t been able to get through book 2, but that might just be me 🥴 There’s a lot of descriptions and not a lot happening, and I don’t really like that tbh. Many people love it though, and it might be different if you read 2 immediately after the first book!

More general vibe. Lots of POV & time switches and I didn't always know who right off and some parts that are not well put together for a timeline. So just some delivery issues that take awhile to sort out. Again, it was still good but the first 2 books were 5 starts for me and the third was between a 3.5-4 star. I actually still own the series and plan to try again one day. So it is still worth reading for sure.

I liked it.
But I think it depends.
If you liked Throne of Glass and/ or ACOTAR, then don't read it. A lot of people who read and liked these series didn't like Crescent City.
If you didn't like the other two series, go for it.

How is everyone’s reading doing? We’re behind at the moment, but I’m confident we can catch up :)

I'm nearly at 50% and so far the book could have used a lot more research on social norms and society and a lot less clichés ( she isn't like other girls, but also likes "feminine things", is annoyed by the love interest but actually isn't, oh and she
But once it leaves all that behind, it's good.

Ahh okay Natalie, thanks for letting us know!

Looks like Berit didn't post in solo, so I believe she just posts direct to the review thread for any books read this month, right?

Oh man that sounds terrible! I’ve got a little flu now, luckily not that bad 🥴
