Lynnette | 324 comments Books do many things for us, once we get to the inside. Often the title alone is something that pulls you in. Great book titles pique your curiosity, make you laugh, cry, wonder, nod in agreement, or piss you off. What's the best book title you've ever come across, whether you've read the book or not?

Mine is Go the Fuck to Sleep by Adam Mansbach

This one always really amused me:

My Boss Is a Grumpy Werewolf and I Think He Wants to Eat Me!

Elizabeth Green | 41 comments Never read it but “Feline Philosophy: Cats and the Meaning of Life” by John Gray. How could you not stop and read that title again.

Do you know what it was about?

Doni | 101 comments What comes to mind is Special Topics in Calamity Physics. Sucked me in by the title alone. And then the titles of the chapters were all famous books. Heck, yeah!

No I didn't. It was on my list for a while of possible non fiction books to get at the library but there have been many more that I'm excited about.

I totally missed that your first words were "never read it..." reading is fundamental 😂

Vanessa Dargain | 503 comments That's a really tough question for me !! There have been so many fictional books with unforgettable titles . The title of a recently read book that kindled my curiosity is THE PRESIDENT IS MIISSING .
I couldn't wait to find out if the president was physically kidnapped or rendered brain dead by some enemy computer geek yet continued to look presidential . Actually , it was none of the above .

Christy Collins | 39 comments I've always loved the sound of "By Grand Central Station I Sat Down and Wept". A few months ago I started to read it but stopped after about 50 pages

Some of the books I picked last year simply because of their titles, knowing nothing about their authors or about the books when I checked them out:

Make Russia Great Again

Everyone in This Room Will Someday Be Dead

At Night We Walk in Circles

The King Is Always Above the People: Stories

You Exist Too Much

I read all of these, and they were all fairly good.
