1. How many books have you been reading? Have you finished any? Are you on track with respect to your readathon goals so far?

2. Have you eaten real food today? (Not just junk food, ACTUAL HEALTHY FOOD) What was your favorite food or beverage so far?

3. Have you been participating in any of the activities on our social media (sprints, photo challenges, discussion questions, BINGO, etc.)

4. Are you growing sleepy? Do you plan to nap, or stop early, or are you extending the readathon hours to include sleep?

5. Have you been outside yet today? Have you had much exercise (besides the heavy lifting required to hold your book)?

6. How is your readathon going, overall?

Lolita | 54 comments Since this is my 1st Dewey's, I really didn't set any goals. So far, I have finished one book and is finishing my 2nd. And yes, I had eaten real food today, participated in a few of the social media activities, and had been outside. I'm not sleepy yet but I do plan to stop early.

ate some baked potatoes because I could prep and put them in the oven while listening to an audiobook. Have made the mistake before of trying to cook on the stove top while listening and it really doesn't work.

have been outside and even tried to read outside for a bit but cosier at home.

I've finished one book and one graphic novel. Started two new books.

goal was to enjoy myself so am succeeding so far. have been enjoying reading people's updates here though haven’t looked at social media

I've finished two books so far. My goal was to read 2-3 books, so yes, I'm on track, although I'll likely end up surpassing it.

I had peanut butter on toast for breakfast and vegetable chop suey for lunch. I splurged on a blended salted caramel mocha, so that was my favorite thing so far.

3. Have you been participating in any of the activities on our social media (sprints, photo challenges, discussion questions, BINGO, etc.)

I've been participating in the discussion questions.

4. Are you growing sleepy? Do you plan to nap, or stop early, or are you extending the readathon hours to include sleep?

I've got miles to go before I sleep, miles to go before I sleep. (And I took a 2-hour nap.)

5. Have you been outside yet today? Have you had much exercise (besides the heavy lifting required to hold your book)?

Yes! I read outside and then I walked to get coffee, so I got way more exercise than I expected. At first, I tried to read while I walked, but that didn't work out so well. Can anybody else do that? (Not counting listening to audiobooks!)

6. How is your readathon going, overall? I'm having a lot of fun. The only time I usually give myself this much time to read is when I'm travelling, so it's a treat!

It's 10am and I've been outside to go and get a McMuffin for breakfast -- something I usually only do if I've gotten up in the night to watch a sports event happening on the other side of the world. I haven't eaten anything healthy yet today. I'm not sleepy but I slept overnight. Things are going well so far.

How many books have you been reading? Have you finished any? Are you on track with respect to your readathon goals so far? I read from three books so far & finished one. I Finished Peanut Butter Panic & have read from Atlas Obscura and Love and Other Words.

Yes for lunch we had noodles & for dinner this evening we had Italian chicken (crock pot meal). I haven’t had a favorite snack so far although I have snacked on my traditional almond M&Ms

Have you been participating in any of the activities on our social media (sprints, photo challenges, discussion questions, BINGO, etc.) Sort of, I am not good about participating in the moment, but I sign on every few hours to catch up on discussions, etc. I have been doing the sprints, but again I don’t update that info online until I sign on later.

Are you growing sleepy? Do you plan to nap, or stop early, or are you extending the readathon hours to include sleep? I am a bit tired, but I plan to try to power through as much as possible and stick to the original 24 hour schedule.

Have you been outside yet today? Have you had much exercise (besides the heavy lifting required to hold your book)? I haven’t been outside, but I have been doing a small amount of housework when I start feeling sleep. Nothing too intense, just laundry, dishes, etc.

How is your readathon going, overall? Overall, pretty good. I always think I am reading more than I am. I’ve got a stopwatch running when I actually read so I know exactly the amount of time spent reading. It is amazing how much those little chores away from reading add up.

Yes - a bowl of porridge

No I hadn't at that stage

4. Are you growing sleepy? Do you plan to nap, or stop early, or are you extending the readathon hours to include sleep?
I didn't start until around 9am NZ time (which was 9 hours after this started)

5. Have you been outside yet today? Have you had much exercise (besides the heavy lifting required to hold your book)?
I've been outside more than I had planned, meaning less reading got done.

6. How is your readathon going, overall?
Only read 30 minutes at that point.
