There's a yellow banner across the top that says 'this comment has posted'. However, it is dwarfed adn easily missed by the picture and quote from a Christopher Moore book about having lost your way.
Then at bottom is a link to get back to GR page.
I don't think this is an error but a new 'feature'. Just warning that if you see something like that, don't assume it's an error message; look for the yellow 'it's posted' tiny banner at the top.

Another recent annoyance. After writing and hitting send on a Direct Message, the system has been making me reenter my password or authenticate that I'm not a robot - and after I do all that, I discover it has erased my message! Then I have to start over. Though I guess it's possible that the person received multiple messages from me? Sometimes the robot thing makes me go through 3 or 4 pictures before it lets me in. It's really annoying.
(I'm imaging a snarky 20 year old saying, "it's not our fault you're going blind.")

I suppose we'll all get used to this, we always seem to adjust to the "upgrades".

It is a bit aggravating.

I think this is what it is (but it's annoying!). I wasn't sure the first couple of times, so had to reload the group and scroll down to make sure it posted. Because I did this, I didn't duplicate my post, but it's extra looking/checking to see if it posted! I am not a fan... (Haven't read the rest of the comments yet, but I can't imagine too many of us particularly like this.)

I'm seeing many duplicate (or even triplicate) posts ... and I"m sure it's because the poster hasn't noticed that tiny yellow "your post is completed" (or whatever the h*** it says) but just sees the "Oops you may be lost" giant notice. Can't they get anything right?!

It was down for me for a while. Now I'm not able to read all the new posts here.

Be sure to save your reviews elsewhere.

Clearly there are systemic issues right now. As BnB says, save reviews elsewhere if you need to do so.

Your Test Topics didn't go through. I can't open it.

Just had same thing here. And on Ballad of Whiskey Robber - which review I was able to open NP just 5 minutes ago.

It's of course far less critical than posting reviews and new topics, but still irritating as can be.
BTW there is a thread in the Moderators Group about the problems.

Thanks for taking the time to write in about this and sending us your feedback. We understand how important it's to keep this feature working properly. Our developers are aware of the bug affecting comments in the Goodreads groups, and I've added your report to the developer ticket, and I'll let you know once it's been resolved.
Sometimes when I go to post a review, or like just now a Kaffeklatsch post, starting a new topic, When I hit 'post' I immediately get what looks like one of GR cutesy error messages that references a book (pirates have surfaced mostly for me). At first I thought there had been an error and it had not uploaded, so I paged back to the draft in the comment box and hit 'post' again. I think it posted normally or maybe it didn't and I got another message like the first? Can't remember. However, I then opened a new window to GR, keeping my first open, and checked PBT discussions to see if the review had posted. It had. Twice.
That tells me the message may not be an error message but an 'it's posted' message? Who knows.
I now, when I get the message, open GR in a new browser and check that the message is there rather than paging back and clicking post again.
Next time I get it I'll take a screen shot and send off to GR Help and ask about it.
