Never too Late to Read Classics discussion

This month we will begin reading the works of Eleanor Estes , most famous for The Moffats and the rest of the books in that series. Her most well-known picture book is The 100 Dresses , for a good reason.
If you haven't read any of this author's works, now is a good time.
I read when I was around ten years old and I still remember certain parts of the book!

I am ordering The Moffats. I saw the 100 Dresses and thought about it instead. I might just go ahead and order it too!

I put The Moffats on hold at the library. I'll see if I can fit it in.

I've just finished The Moffats-a delightful book about a loving family.
Much of the story is written from the perspective of ten-year old Jane, an adventurous girl with an active imagination.

Rosemarie I just looked in my cart and The Moffats was still in my cart!

I just ordered it today. I totally had forgotten about it. Gesh....

I hope you enjoy it as much as I did. It's a cute story.

I've just finished The Middle Moffat, which is centred on Jane's adventures. I loved it! I remember loving it when I read it as a child too. One of my favourite parts is Jane's attempt to read all the books in the library.
