After moving to Austin following six months of unemployment back home, Iris Taylor knows she should be glad to have landed a job so quickly... even if the business is owned by a member of the same motorcycle club her estranged father used to belong to. Except Dex Locke might just be the biggest jerk she’s ever met. He’s rude, impatient and doesn’t know how to tell time.

And the last thing they ever expected was each other.

First quarter. So so. The testosterone is on high, and Iris is clearly intrigued by Dex. I’m more keen to find out exactly what happened to her arm, and wonder when he’ll work out how to get a tattoo that incorporates the scarring.

Second quarter. Really can’t believe she’s so slow to work out her feelings. Also, her trip to the other gang will come back to bite her.

Third quarter. Surprised they didn’t give her more grief for that stunt. The whole focus on her not telling him about her arm is annoying me. I’m also finding the conversation between them so repetitive.

Finished. Review on home page. Life is too short...I need to read books I want to, and not get caught up in the BR element for the sake of it. Didn't do much for me.
