Psychological Thrillers discussion

I am in a major slump and can't get into reading at all. I have a few excellent books waiting to be read, but I can't get going.

😭 I haven’t been able to read a book in 2weeks. Idk might hop back on this next month.

I’m currently reading The Chain by Adrian McKinty and I am liking it so far!

I’m reading THE UNKNOWN BELOVED by Amy Harmon, and am loving it so far!! She’s one of my favorite authors. Her stories are truly unforgettable, heartfelt, and uplifting.

I am reading Sworn to Silence by Linda Castillo first book in her series. Read a few by her and they were very good

Heyy! I recently completed Rock Paper Scissors by Alice Feeney. It is a good book, as everyone said, the ending has an amazing plot twist. But, the book is boring and difficult to connect with the characters.

Currently, I am reading The Seven Death of Evelyn Hardcastle, and it is interesting! ❤️

I just finished Daisy Darker and really like it. Currently reading I Will Find You by Harlen Corben - and it is great

Hey Ruth, how ya doing. I've been going thru my bookshelf and reading books from way back when was catching up for a bit when my bookshelf looked like I was really reading. I need a page turning book that grabs me in the first couple of pages instead either that or I'm not in the reading mood.

I just got rid of a box of books but believe it or not my shelves are still full. Really have to go through all of them but how can you get rid of a book you haven't read lol.

I am starting A Little Pinprick. Paige Dearth is one of my favorite authors so I hope this breaks me out of my slump.

I read the book and and it will keep you interested. Have to tell you that I was very sad b/c I person died in the book that I really liked.

The wives, by Taryn Fisher. Very good book with an unreliable narrator.

I really enjoyed the wives, it made me appreciate books with unreliable narrators because the twists are so much better! If there any recommendations for those would love to hear!

The Girl in the Moon by Terry Goodkind

I read The Wives a while ago and it wasn't my favorite.

Many authors change covers. Then rerelease books. Jaws is coming back with a new cover. Some even alter the name. Patterson did that in the beginning before taking on writing partners.

I am reading A Little High, the next book after A Little Pinprick.

Not sure but when I go through my kindle books there are several books that I can upgrade what it means I have no idea bc seriously if you have the book why would you want to pay another $10 for an extra chapter.

Can’t Stop What’s Inside. I’m just getting around to them. Predictable but interesting.

I’m reading The Quiet Tenant by Clemence Michallon. It has been really good so far. I haven’t reached any boring areas and it has kept me on my toes.
I haven’t figured out the ending to it yet so that is also a plus for me. I hate when I can figure out the ending right away. 🤷🏼‍♀️
