Ohh that's a tough one, as the books I'm planning on reading next don't have those plots... Does a road trip have to be by car / motor vehicle? Or would a trip with horses / other mythical creatures on roads through the country in a fantasy book also count?

I will accept any mode of transport, as long as the idea translates as a "road trip"!

Ok I finally found a book that fits this task!

Read a book where the MCs spend time in a fancy hotel -> Montgomery in The Daughter of Doctor Moreau stays in fancy lodging (magnificent haciendas which in my opinion for that time count as a fancy hotel in nineteenth-century Mexico?).

Hi quick question, so I finished The Love Hypothesis on the 10th, a day after I had posted the other completion post, can I now count this toward this 2nd question as it fits, or do I need to finish the book only after you posted the question?
