COMPLETION POST:
The mods are going to be needing this from every participant for every book they finish for us to be able to track everything better. Only books that have a completion post will be considered for scoring points. Here is the template:
Title:
Author:
Start Date:
Finish Date:
Category and task: (only one task per book read)
Graphic Novel? (Yes or no)
Buddy Read? (Yes or no)
Group Read? (Yes or no)
Pages: (if a graphic novel, please post original and halved numbers; ex: 244/122)
Review: [link of your review]
Please ensure you include the category and task number. It really helps us when we input into our master spreadsheet <3

I too find this group appropriate for myself, as I am napping quite often (mainly because I work 2 jobs and have an unofficial 3rd).
Can't wait to start!

Do you already have plans for which books/prompts you want to tackle first?

Some of my tentative plans for this summer include:

I already have a buddy read for this in June, so if anyone else wants to join, we can double up on BR points!

These are just a few of my top priorities for the next few months. I am a big mood reader so I never know what I may feel like reading next!

I have a tentative reading plan and know some of the categories I will cover. More on that later.
Curious on Yellowface - what category/ies will you be putting it in? I want to read it too, but couldn't figure out where it fit in the challenges.
So I have books that I plan on reading in the following categories/challenges: Rock - 1, 2, 3 and 4 (several choices in each); Jazz - 1 (couple of C.S. Forester books), 2 (Blackout), and 3 (The Stone Sky); Country - 1 (Island in the Sea of Time), 2 (Lone Women), 3 (Against the Tide of Years) and 5 (lots of choices here so I will see what floats my boat later); Alternative - 1 (Nigerians in Space) and 2 (Doomsday Book); Synth - 1 (Golden Son), 2 (The Name of the Wind), 3 (Lessons in Chemistry), 4 (another C.S. Forester book), and 5 (Mr. Midshipman Hornblower); Baroque - 2 (Frankenstein: The 1818 Text), 4 (several choices) and 5 (The Last Unicorn). I'm planning obviously to go on a Horatio Hornblower (C.S. Forester) reading spree as I now have the whole series, as well as a couple of other series. If there's a hole that needs to be filled for the team, I will see if I can find something in my huge TBR to fulfill it.
June will be busy for me so I might start out slow, but July should be prime reading time.

I've got quite a few buddy reads going on over the next couple of months, though unfortunately most of them are happening in another Goodreads group... But so far I've got these prompts filled out:
Rock #4 - The Prison Healer
Jazz #2 - Seven Faceless Saints
Jazz #4 - Witch King?
Country #1 - Fourth Wing
Alternative #3 - Mountains Made of Glass
Synth #2 - Anne of Green Gables
Synth #4 - A House with Good Bones
Baroque #1 - Elatsoe
Baroque #2 - Frankenstein
Baroque #3 - Ninth House
And I still need to somehow possibly fit The Last Sun, The Fellowship of the Rings, The Two Towers, For the Wolf, Air Awakens, and The Foxglove King on there somehow... >.>

@Leslie I'm putting Yellowface on 'Books under 10,000 reviews as it's currently hovering at 7k. It obviously won't stay there long but it meets the prompt for now :)

Welcome! :D
Buddy reads can be lots of fun! You can have as many or as few as you'd like~ It's an easy process too: you start off by posting what books you'd like to buddy read with other people (or by looking at what other people have listed as options in their own posts), and once you have someone also interested in reading the same book as you, you decide together when you want to start reading it and at what pace (1 chapter a day, 3 chapters a day... etc). And while you read, you discuss it/share your thoughts about it with your reading buddy.

ohhh, thank you for informing me!

I see, that makes sense. Thanks for the advice!
