Welcome to this month's Hidden Gems challenge!

Hidden Gems is a fantastic way to plow through those mountains of books claiming space in your house or e-reader. I have found that this challenge produces some fun group interaction as well, because someone else chooses which book you’ll read next.

If you sign up, you'll be matched up with a Hidden Gems partner. You will choose a book from the list your partner designates which you have already read and cannot believe your partner hasn’t read yet. Your partner will do the same for you with the list you designate. The point is to find that “Hidden Gem” that you think they’ll love… because you adored it when you read it!

Let us know which books you choose for each other. When you finish reading your gem, let us know what you thought about it. Perhaps your Hidden Gem might find its way to someone else’s wish list!

Match-ups will be created on the 10th of the month. Please choose books for each other by the 13th.

Sign up by telling us which list you’d like your partner to choose from.

Happy reading, friends!

Hope you enjoy the one you choose :)

Thanks Kate for the great choices - this makes a tough decision since they all look great! I'll go with [book:I Hope You Dance: A July Wedding Story|25122073] I Hope You Dance A July Wedding Story by Robin Lee Hatcher for sure.

Unfortunately I have not read any of yours but did find many we both want to read. Therefore, here are my choices for you:

Thanks, Karen! I'm going to go with A Promise Kept A Promise Kept by Robin Lee Hatcher , which, ironically enough, is actually the first book of a companion series to the 'I Hope You Dance' book I suggested for you.
Guess we're both reading Robin Lee Hatcher/Kings Meadow stories this month!😄

That Robin Lee Hatcher Series is a good one!

message 30: by Andrea, Hospitality Coordinator (new)

Andrea Cox (andreacox) | 6245 comments Mod
Kate, where do A Promise Kept and I Hope You Dance fit in with the main three Kings Meadow books? I've already read books 1-2 in the trilogy, but I was unaware those other two books were related.

message 31: by Kate, Challenge Fun Distributor (new)

Kate (liahonagirl) | 3535 comments Mod
Andrea, the series page lists A Promise Kept as set in Kings Meadow but not officially part of the series. I Hope You Dance is listed as book 2.5.

I loved A Match In The Making, and I finished A Shadow in Moscow and found it very interesting. It was set during the Cold War period in the 1960's and 70's. I remember them vividly.
